Darnum Shady Creek Road, Darnum - 135609-25VIC-RTR
Reconstruction of road pavement including strengthening through stabilisation of existing pavement and the addition of 200mm crushed rock and widening of approximately 1km. Tree removal will be required to facilitate widening at some locations.
Lansdowne Road, Melinda - 136974-25NSW-RTR
Existing pavement has deteriorated with extensive surface defects, pot holing and localised defects causing increased risk to road users. Provision of new pavement with a bitumen wearing surface and drainage improvements.
Roberts Road, Subiaco - 136954-25WA-RTR
The project involves the proposed modification of the Principal Shared Path (PSP) to reduce conflicts between pedestrians and cyclists, and to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection of the PSP with Rokeby Road and Roberts Road near the traffic signals. The work includes the installation of cobblestone banding strips across the PSP to act as speed calming for approaching cyclists, replacing the asphalt surface with pavers in the lead up to the intersection to create a tactile surface to indicate to cyclists the change to a shared environment. Placement of street furniture, planting and shared space markings to raise awareness of the presence of both cyclists and pedestrians, and keep cycle speeds low to enable them to share the space with care.
Lake Road, Bethanga Bay - 136976-25VIC-RTR
Because of existing subgrade subsidence located at the approaches of the existing major culvert/bridge, earth works and road stabilisation works are now required to be undertaken for this subject section of Lake Road to create a safe transition through this area.
Red Head Road, Red Head - 136982-25NSW-RTR
Roundabout intersection upgrade works and provision of new pavement with a bitumen wearing surface along with drainage / lighting improvements.
Recreation Road, Mount Clear - 136979-25VIC-RTR
Local gravel road with no pavement causing safety problems for road users. Joining a Collector Road to a Regional Roads Main Road.
Legge Street, Granya - 136977-25VIC-RTR
Both Legge and Sparrow Streets in Granya are currently gravel roads located within urban township environment. To assist in managing road infrastructure assets Council is planning to seal these two roads greatly reducing the need for dust suppression and gravel re-sheeting and improving safety for all road users.
Towong Hill Road, Towong - 136981-25VIC-RTR
Towong Hill Road is currently not sealed. We are planning to reconstruct and seal 350m of Towong Hill Road to reduce the need of dust suppression and to improve safety along this section of road. The Towong community has been requesting that these works be undertaken for a number of years.
