Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bichels Road (Rural Road) - 066137-16QLD-RTR
Due to ongoing growth in the region, the existing gravel road had reached the traffic trigger point where it is more cost effective to upgrade road with bitumen surfacing.Widen existing gravel road to 7m formation & bitumen seal. Total length 1,600m

Pink Road (Rural Road) - 066139-16SA-RTR
Road pavement deteriorated beyond its usefull life.Reconstruction of existing unsealed road to achieve a minimum of 150 millimetres of compacted road surface. Works include the rehabilitation of existing material and the importing of additional material.
Brackendale Road, Walcha - 066140-16NSW-RTR
The road surface has been detriorated with cracks on the surface.The cracks are allowing water to penetrate the base course.Resealing a section of 3740 m long x 7 m wide with C170 bitumen binder , 10mm and 7 mm precoated aggregates,
Jamieson Street, Walcha - 066142-16NSW-RTR
Existing road is very deteriorated, it is Council's top priority within the township.The road has extensive pothole pathcing that has lead to a very rough surface.Widening the existing pavement and seal.Continue with drainage upgrades addressing poor drainage throughout the site.Drainage upgrades will include new kerb and gutter along the southern side of the road.Works will begin at 0.000km and will end at 0.500 km

The road surfce has been detriorated with cracks on the surface.The cracks are allowing water to penetrate the base course.Resealing a 220 m long x 10 m wide section with C170 bitumen binder, 10 mm and 7 mm percoated aggregates.

Ward Terrace - 066145-16SA-RTR
Road surface has worn out losing its stones and bitumen binding and become rough and uneven affecting the ride ability on the road. Surface cracks are present. Worn out road surface with cracks does not provide water proofing of the road pavement. Sections of kerb and gutter are cracked, crushed or lifted.Renew damaged kerb and gutter sections, repair weak areas of pavement and resurface the road with new asphalt concrete layer and install traffic control devices including line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $48,212
