Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Copeton Dam Road (Rural Road) - 066269-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidisation.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied.
Old Mill Road (Rural Road) - 066271-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidisation.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied.
Norma Downs Road (Rural Road) - 066277-16NSW-RTR
Culvert structural failures, severe batter erosion, pavement and sub base failure have resulted in this section of road nearing unserviceable.Replace existing culverts with new box culverts, shape batters and import bulk rock fill to prevent erosion, reconstruct 1km of pavement and seal 7m width.
Abernethy Road, CLOVERDALE - 066291-16WA-RTR
Queue length to turn right from Abernethy Road (North/West) into Wright Street (South/West) exceeds the turning bay length and disrupts/impeedes the through traffic at the traffic signal controlled intersection.Length, width and area of job: 130m x 11m = 1,430m2. Widen Abernethy Road North/West of Wright Street intersection to accommodate a longer right turn lane South/West into Wright Street. Modify drainage to suit new layout, reconstruct median island, relocate existing centrally located double outreach light pole and overlay section of works with a new asphalt wearing course.
Tibradden Circle, ASCOT - 066292-16WA-RTR
Existing red asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life with cracking showing through, minor deformation of road and kerb damage along East side of the road.Length, width and area of job: 124m x 11.5m = 1,426m2. Profile out existing red asphalt over the full width of the road, replace kerbing along the East side of the road and overlay full extent of the job with a new wearing course.
Johnson Street, REDCLIFFE - 066294-16WA-RTR
Current roundabout geometry is not to Australian Design Standards and red asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life.Length, width and area of job: 67m x 56m = 1,355m2. Upgrade roundabout to Australian Design Standards, install new drainage manholes and side entry pits, install new kerb lines and overlay site with intersection mix quality asphalt wearing course.
Abernethy Road, KEWDALE - 066295-16WA-RTR
Turning movements of heavy vehicles have damaged the existing asphalt wearing course producing crocodile cracking and pot holes.Length, width and area of job: 60m x 40m = 1,200m2. Milling off the existing asphalt wearing course, wet mixing the existing base course materials and then applying an intersection mix asphalt overlay over the whole job to finish the reconstruction.
Acton Avenue, RIVERVALE - 066296-16WA-RTR
Safety concerns regarding adjacent Primary School student movements and inadequate existing on-street parking arrangements.Length, width and area of job: 212m x 11m = 2,332m2. Widen section on Acton Avenue to allow safer on-street parking arrangement, construct parking protection build outs from verges and formalise parking bays with line marking after an asphalt overlay has been laid over length of job.
Spencer Road, Ballan - 066303-16VIC-RTR
Spencer Road is a narrow pavement with deep table drains and driveway culverts. There is a bus stop on the east side which does not allow for the bus to pull of the road pavement safely.Pavement widening, sealing, drainage improvements and bus stop improvements. The intersection improvements include kerb and channel and a traffic island at the intersection of Berry Street and Spencer Road. Additional kerb and channel in Spencer Road and pavement widening to match the previous section completed in 2014/15.
