Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Newdegate-Pingrup Road (Rural Road) - 067571-16WA-RTR
Scheduled resealing works, failure of a section of bitumen road.Three floodways need to undergo resealing work at sections SLK 2.320 to 2.620, second floodway at SLK 9.790 to 10.970 and third floodway at SLK 13.358 to 13.880. Reconstruct a failure in a bitumen road section at SLK 2.870 to 3.500 requiring gravel and application of a 2 coat seal.
Memana Road, Memana - 067588-16TAS-RTR
Sections of the road are due to for a reseal as required by the Council's 15 year Reseal ProgramReseal the identified sections of the road with Class 170 Bitumen and 10mm Aggregate.
Ellis Lane (Rural Road) - 067633-16VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the gravel surface has worn down to the clay base. The alignment of the road needs to be straightened and road side vegetation needs to be removed for safety.Place a gravel re sheet 10mm thick and 4.7m wide. Remove the roadside vegetation as per design.
Yorkshire Road Stage 1 (Rural Road) - 067634-16VIC-RTR
The gravel surface has worn down to clay base due to heavy vehicle traffic from nearby businesses.It is proposed to widen, top up and re-compact the existing pavement and put a bitumen seal to make the road 6.2m wide road.
Bridgewater Raywood Road (Rural Road) - 067636-16VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the failing pavement due to very high volume of traffic safety of the road due to existing narrow width seal surface.It is proposed to widen, top up and re-compact the existing pavement and put a bitumen seal to make the road 6.2m wide road.
Wedderburn Dunolly Road (Rural Road) - 067637-16VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the failing pavement due to heavy traffic volume and road safety due to existing narrow seal width.It is proposed to widen, top up and re-compact the existing pavement and put a bitumen seal to make the road 6.2m wide road.
Kelly St, Pyramid Hill - 067641-16VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the failing pavement due to inadequate drainage.It is proposed to install kerb and channel and spoon drainage to prevent pooling of water causing pavement degradation. Additional linemarkings to be installed for delineating bus parking from traffic area.Total cost of proposed project is $130,000
Gowar Fentons Creek Rd (Rural Road) - 067642-16VIC-RTR
The downstream of the concrete structure has been undermined due to flood and has caused damage on the foundation.It is proposed to remove the existing floodway and construct a new floodway in current engineering standards.
