Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

George Street, Forth (Rural Road) - 092877-17TAS-RTR
Drainage issues, pavement failures.Improve drainage and reconstruct pavement failures. Length 450m seal width 5.2mTotal cost of proposed project is $175,000
Tarantall Road, Forest Hill - 092878-17QLD-RTR
Current pavement condition has reached its useful life and has considerable vertical movement. Pavement requires a reconstruction in order to improve asset condition and life.Pavement reconstruction and sealTotal cost of proposed project is $381,887
Diamond Head Drive, Sandy Beach - 092879-17NSW-RTR
Pavement is in poor condition, it's narrow and poor drainage so is dangerous with no formalised shared pathway.Upgrade including kerb and gutter, stormwater drainage. Box out unsuitable base and subgrade and replace with 400mm of Aus Spec quality base material. Seal with 10mm spray seal then overlay with 40mm AC14 asphalt. Line mark. 185m long. One lane each way. Also included a 2.5m wide shared path full length.Total cost of proposed project is $3,154,421
Albert Street East Melbourne - 092880-17VIC-RTR
Pavement surface is rutted and undulating along wheel paths and approaches to intersections with extensive areas of services trench reinstatements and pothole maintenance patches and areas of longitudinal, transverse and crocodile cracking and fatigued / oxidised appearance.Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 230 metres and a width of 16.5 metres including reconstruction of pavement areas with heavy crocodile cracking and reinstate over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in all traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to intersections all to a depth of 50 mm.
Queen Street Melbourne - 092881-17VIC-RTR
The existing asphalt road surface has heavy rutting along east side wheel paths and bus lanes with numerous services trench reinstatements and extensive longitudinal, transverse and crocodile pavement cracking and fatigued / oxidised appearance.Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 215 metres and a width of 21.5 metres and reinstate over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to Bourke Street and Lonsdale Street intersections all to a depth of 50 mm
Sea Acres Drive, Longbeach - 092884-17NSW-RTR
Pavement is reaching the end of its serviceable life. Works will increase the longevity and safety of the road.Reseal in accordance with established program. To improve safety and longevity of underlying pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $32,352
Forest Creek Road (rural road) - 092885-17QLD-RTR
the existing culverts are in poor condition and there is erosion under the culverts and structural failures in the road pavement above the culvertsrenew the existing 3 x 2700mm diameter steel pipes with new concrete culverts and reconstruct the gravel pavement
