Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mitchells Road (Rural Road) - 093216-17NSW-RTR
Surface is corrugated with loss of shape.Place 100mm quarry gravel to 7 metres wide, water and compact.
Erigolia Road (Rural Road) - 093217-17NSW-RTR
Road is very narrow.Widen pavement each side and reshape existing pavement.

potholes and slippery surfacere-gravel and grade to make safer
Blende Street,Broken Hill - 093220-17NSW-RTR
Failed Pavement - Extensive crocodile cracking indicating water damage to seal and roadbase. Localised flooding indicated insufficient underground drainage infrastructure.Reconstruction of road as a design and construct project upgrading the drainage assets (Council contribution) and relaying the base and finishing with an asphalt seal.Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
Marom Creek Road, Rous Mill - 093221-17NSW-RTR
Old pavement and very narrow seal has failed showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant heavy patching accompnied by poor drainage, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of pavement and seal for a length of approximately 850 metres with a variable seal width (between 5.0 to 6.0 metres) including ten culvert reconstructions and installation of approximately 550 metres of new kerb and gutter.Total cost of proposed project is $662,000
Lawes Street East Maitland - 093223-17NSW-RTR
Urban collector road with poor pavement. Traffic growth and connection to regional shopping center has seen an increased pavement deterioration and associated safety issues.Full reconstruction of road pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
Carpenter Rocks Road, Carpenter Rocks - 093224-17SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor drainage and localised flooding. Water cannot drain off the road due to deterioration of the road. Forms part of township improvement plan for Carpenter Rocks, road improved with kerb and channel.Kerb and seal 320m section at 8m wide.
Mingbool Road (Rural Road) - 093225-17SA-RTR
Road is being maintained, as a major freight route. Evidence of rutting, inadequate width and deteriation evident. Road loosing skid resistance, causing major safety concerns. Forms part of Councils asset renewal program.Reconstruct and seal 2km section, being a 10m formation, with a 7m wide seal (1.5m shoulders).Total cost of proposed project is $627,419
Daly Street, BELMONT - 093226-17WA-RTR
Existing black asphalt seal has come to the end of its useful life and is starting to show cracking of the wearing course and localised deformation of the road base course material. Length, width and area of job: 450m x 7.4m 3,477m2. Including cul-de-sac area.Profile edges of the asphalt up to 1m wide, retain kerbing, repair localised deformation, upgrade existing drainage structures and overlay with a new asphalt wearing course.
Toorak Road, RIVERVALE - 093227-17WA-RTR
Excessive cracking of the existing wearing course is starting to allow water runoff to filter through to the base course and crack sealing has already been undertaken once to save the base course material. Length, width and area of job: 315m x 7.2m 2,363m2. Including cul-de-sac area.Profile edges of the asphalt up to 1m wide, retain kerbing, upgrade existing drainage structures and overlay with a new asphalt wearing course to seal the base course material.
