Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hay Terrrace, Kongorong - 093228-17SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor drainage and localised flooding. Water cannot drain off the road due to deterioration of the road. Forms part of township improvement plan for Kongorong, road improved with kerb and channel.Kerb and seal 320m section at 8m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $145,288
Armidale Road (Rural Road) - 093229-17NSW-RTR
The road is narrow for the current and future traffic volumes and has failed over a number of sections.The works will widen 1 km of Armidale Road to 8.5 metres wide and overlay the widened road with an average of 150 mm of gravel base. The widened road will be sealed to 8 metres wide.Total cost of proposed project is $546,511
Clarence Way (Rural Road) - 093230-17NSW-RTR
The road surface has commenced cracking and the old seal has oxidised due to age. The road surface requires resealing to continue protecting the road pavement.The work will reseal 4,290 metres of Clarence Way an average of 7.8 metes wide.
Vincent Road, Rural Road - 093231-17WA-RTR
the sub base of this road has failed and has now become unsaferepair sub base, re-sheet with 200 millimetres of gravel, repair and open drains
Kalguddering East Road, Ruaral Road - 093232-17WA-RTR
this sub base of this road has failed and is in an unsafe conditionRepair sub base by gravel resheeting with 200 millimetres of gravel, reshape and open drains
Ferguson Road (rural road) - 093233-17WA-RTR
Existing surface is extremely rough and corrugated increasing road maintenance costs and decreasing road safety. Road surface has reached the end of its life.Resheet existing road surface with 100mm of gravel with 100mm of gravel for 8m wide for 2.28 kilometres long.Total cost of proposed project is $98,089
Walker Avenue, Lancelin - 093234-17WA-RTR
Existing surface is badly potholed and the edge of the seal is badly chipping away creating traffic hazards. Existing sealed surface has reached the end of it's life.Widen formation to 8m, asphalt surface and install kerbing for 580m long.
Drive In Court, Maryborough - 093235-17VIC-RTR
Drive In Court, 371 metres long is an Urban Industrial Access road where the existing asphalted road pavement, which is 9 metres wide between kerbs has failed. The road surface is cracked and the pavement has rutted and heaved and has deteriorated.The existing pavement is to be stabilised and strengthened to 200mm deep and 9 metres wide, totalling 3,339 square metres and resurfaced with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $178,000
Majorca Road, Maryborough - 093236-17VIC-RTR
Majorca Road is an Urban Link road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 470 metres long by 11 metres wide between kerbs, with an 11 metre wide seal has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated along with the shoulders of the road.The existing pavement is to be removed between the existing kerbs, the existing sub-base to be stabilised to 200mm deep and a new 300mm deep crushed road pavement base placed covered with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt road surface to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Some new kerb is required along an outer separator.Total cost of proposed project is $5,390,000
Luke Court, Maryborough - 093237-17VIC-RTR
Luke Court is an Urban Access Road Court where the existing pattern paved concrete road 60 metres long and 3.5 metres wide with an existing three point turn around is not capable of accommodating a garbage truck and the road shoulders have deteriorated causing access and maintenance problems.The existing concrete pavement is to be removed and replaced with a 300 mm deep pavement widened to 6 metres width with new kerb and channel both sides and an 18 metres diameter turn around area at the end with a 40mm deep asphalt surface.Total cost of proposed project is $121,000
