Project description

Majorca Road is an Urban Link road where the existing sealed road pavement, which is 470 metres long by 11 metres wide between kerbs, with an 11 metre wide seal has failed. The road surface is rutted and heaved and has deteriorated along with the shoulders of the road.

The existing pavement is to be removed between the existing kerbs, the existing sub-base to be stabilised to 200mm deep and a new 300mm deep crushed road pavement base placed covered with a 40mm deep heavy duty asphalt road surface to provide a level safe surface in the urban environment. Some new kerb is required along an outer separator.

Total cost of proposed project is $5,390,000
