Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Benjaberring Hindmarsh Road (rural road) - 094845-17WA-RTR
There has been excessive deterioration of the unsealed pavement combined with an inadequate base course and an exposed sub-base. This has lead to an unsafe carriageway, ineffective drainage and severe corrugations.It is proposed to sheet with new roadbase to a depth of 200mm, waterbind and roll to achieve a 6 metre wide carriageway and also to construct spoon drains to improve drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $40,186

Harvey Road, Clinton - 094850-17QLD-RTR
Harvey Road is the major feeder road servicing some of the most rapidly expanding areas, resulting in an increase in vehicular traffic and students at Clinton State School. With an excess of 350 vehicles parked directly opposite the school and with over 900 students currently enrolled, the risk of an accident is high as the traffic interaction is currently controlled by two manned pedestrian crossings, which has been identified as inadequate and struggles to control pedestrian and traffic flow.Road pavement renewal and resurfacing works. Construction of a set of pedestrian traffic lights at the intersection of Harvey Road and Marley Brown car park access and general lighting upgrade.Total cost of proposed project is $3,370,000
Apsley Natimuk RD. (Rural Road) - 094851-17VIC-RTR
This Section of road is badly deformed, some areas of pavement hold water and the surface is breaking up.Reconstruction to restore shape and provide additional pavement. Place an initial seal at construction.
Murrawong Rd. (Rural Road) - 094852-17VIC-RTR
This section of road is badly deformed, some areas of pavement hold water and the surface is breaking up.Reconstruction to restore shape and provide additional pavement. Place an initial seal at construction.
Sandsmere Hall Rd.(Rural Road) - 094853-17VIC-RTR
This section of road has reached it's useful life and is badly deformed, some areas of pavement holding water and the surface is breaking up.Reconstruction to restore shape including addition of new pavement. Place an initial seal at construction.
Bloomfield Street (Gunnedah) - 094854-17NSW-RTR
Due to the increasing activity of heavy vehicles, the pavement thickness is inadequate to carry high volumes of traffic, pavement is weak and is extremely damaged, safety and noise concerns have been raised by residentsRemove unsuitable pavement to a depth of 500mm, replaced with suitable gravel, compacting in layers, stabilising the travel lanes, whilst providing a bitumen water proofing membrane, and asphalt wearing coarse.
