Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Wongawol Rd (rural road) - 094987-17WA-RTR
Water is pooling on the road running surface due to insufficient drainage, causing pot holes and damage to road from heavy traffic.Flood ways are to be constructed, additional gravel sheeting will be required to lift the level of the running surface, guide posts and signs are to be installed.Total cost of proposed project is $472,696
Wongawol Rd (rural road) - 094988-17WA-RTR
Wongawol Road requires 2nd coat seal for preservation of the existing road from straight line kilometer 0 - 15.6km. Road also requires a large amount of crack patching before the second coat seal can be placed.Second coat final seal to be applied from straight line kilometer 0 - 15.6kmTotal cost of proposed project is $809,828
Stonehenge-Warbreccan Road (Rural Road) - 094989-17QLD-RTR
The condition of the existing bitumen seal is deteriorating due to its age and resealing of the existing pavement will maintain existing levels of service.Bitumen resealing of a 6 metre wide road surface.
Jundah-Quilpie Road (Rural Road) - 094990-17QLD-RTR
Upgrade of existing gravel pavement to bitumen seal standard to provide all weather access. Part of a strategy to develop a sealed road link between Windorah and Jericho.6 metre wide seal on an existing 8 metre wide gravel pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $2,725,000
Minnie Water Road (Rural Road) - 094991-17NSW-RTR
The road surface has commenced cracking and the old seal has oxidised due to age. The road surface requires resealing to continue protecting the pavement.The proposed works will reseal 6,930 metes of Minnie Water Road an average of 6 metres wide.
Armidale Road (Rural Road) - 094992-17NSW-RTR
The road embankment is potentially unstable and the road culvert has separated. The road pavement is also in poor condition.The road embankment will be strengthened through the placement of rock from the base of the embankment to the road. The 600 mm diameter culvert will be replaced and the road reconstructed.
Wooli Road (Rural Road) - 094993-17NSW-RTR
The road is narrow for the current and future traffic volumes and has failed over a number of sections.The proposed work will widen 770 metres of Wooli Road to 8.0 metres wide and overlay the widened road with 200 mm of gravel base. The widened road will be sealed to 7.5 metres wide.
