Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Racecourse Road, Charters Towers - 094995-17QLD-RTR
The seal has deteriorated over the whole section.It is proposed to reseal the roadway with a bitumen overlay.
Meagher Lane, Forbes - 094996-17NSW-RTR
Existing pavement is potholed, rough and the drainage is poor.Reconstruct the pavement by in-situ stabilising existing materials and renew / upgrade the drainage infrastructure.
Cue Beringarra Road (Rural Road) - 094997-17WA-RTR
The road surface is uneven and the bitumen seal is lifting away causing pot holes.patching of pot holes and resealing of the surface using a sand seal from local materials.Total cost of proposed project is $673,732
Graham Avenue, Marrickville - 094999-17NSW-RTR
Distressed road surface has wide-spread potholes and extensive cracking.Propose to re-sheet the entire length of 0.15km and the width of 9.0m with some heavy patching. Works include realignment of kerb and landscaping,.Total cost of proposed project is $110,000
Coaldale Road (Rural Road) - 095000-17NSW-RTR
The existing bridge is of timber construction. The timber deck component and some of the significant timber structural members have deteriorated to the extent that the bridge requires replacement.The proposed works will replace the existing 18.74 metre single lane timber bridge with a 19.45 metre long two lane concrete bridge.
Lancaster Road (Rural Road) - 095001-17TAS-RTR
Lancaster road has poor gravel coverage and drainage on the full 7.5km Between Grassy road and Millwood road. Addressing this problem will greatly improve the safety of the road and decrease degradation due to poor drainage.A full re-sheet of the section of Lancaster road between Grassy Rd and Millwood Rd. Also drainage and portal work will be completed.
Robbins Road (Rural Road) - 095002-17TAS-RTR
Robbins Rd has poor gravel coverage and drainage for the full 7.1km between Grassy Rd and Millwood Rd. Addressing this problem will greatly improve the safety of the road and decrease degradation due to poor drainage.A full re sheet of the section of Robbins Rd between Grassy Rd and Millwood Rd. Also drainage and portal work will be completed.
Shultz Road (Rural Road) - 095003-17NSW-RTR
The existing bridge is of timber construction. The timber substructure has deteriorated to the extent that the bridge requires replacement.The proposed works will replace the existing 8.4 metre long single lane timber bridge with a two lane concrete twin cell box culvert.
Cemetery Road, Sale - 095005-17VIC-RTR
The existing road was constructed many years ago and significant vehicle movements necessitates the need upgrade the existing road to current standards. Existing drainage system needs to be improved.Stage 1: Works include Road widening, formalisation of roadway including reconstruction of kerb and channel, footpath, stormwater drainage including pits and pipes, sealed and delineated new parking bays and clear delineation of traffic lanes for safer vehicle movements, and to aline with current standards. Asphalt 30mm deep overlay .
Merry Street, Maffra - 095006-17VIC-RTR
The existing gravel road has no formal drainage, no crown on the surface and potholes and uneven surface developing in road which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include widen to 6.2m and reconstruct the sections including kerb and channel and drainage works. Asphalt 30mm deep overlay .Total cost of proposed project is $201,963
