Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Road pavement has loss of shape with fatigue cracking, rutting and ravelling. Rural profile of the road ( no kerb and channel). This section of road has a load limit.Reconstruction of existing carriage way, safety upgrades, drainage upgrade, public lighting upgrade, pavement upgrade and new on road bike lanes.Total cost of proposed project is $6,500,000

Deterioration and pavement failure due to end of useful life. Road is too narrow, which does not meet Capricorn Municipal Development Guidelines for Rural Minor Collectors Road.Rehabilitation pavement widening to 6.5m and bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $170,000
Saleyards Road (Rural Road) - 095143-17QLD-RTR
Deterioration of the road surface. Road is too narrow, which does not meet with Capricorn Municipal Development Guidelines for Rural Minor Collectors.Rehabilitation, pavement widening to 6.5m and bitumen seal.
Bell Street, Biloela - 095144-17QLD-RTR
The road width and existing kerb and channel are insufficient.Remove and replace existing kerb and channel, which is compliant with Capricorn Municipal Development Guidelines, including an asphalt overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $880,000
Theodore Moura Road (Rural Road) - 095145-17QLD-RTR
Road is too narrow causing safety concerns for motorists and has deteriorated due to the excessive use of heavy vehicles.Formation, drainage, pavement widening to 6.5m and bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,179,348
Shepherdson Road (Rural Road) - 095146-17QLD-RTR
Water flows in the wrong direction and the floodway is too narrow to allow the road to be used as a heavy vehicle bypass.Pavement widening to 6.5m, removal of concrete floodway and stabilisation of the water crossing point.Total cost of proposed project is $257,187
Banana Baralaba Road (Rural Road) - 095147-17QLD-RTR

Scone Road ( Rural Road) - 095151-17NSW-RTR
Scone Road is a well utilized inter regional tourist road, providing a direct link to Upper Hunter Shire Council and the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park. Up to 1000 vehicle per day utilize this road. The current gravel section is narrow (generally less than 5m), often very rough and slippery in the wet. The school bus utilizes this route.Progressive widening and sealing of this road is slowly improving safety and amenity for all road users . It is proposed to extend the seal by a further 6.5 km to complete sealing of Scone road up to the end of Council maintained section (3.5km was extended in last years RTR program). The school bus utilizes this route.
