Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bore Road (Rural Road) - 095165-17SA-RTR
Unsealed road is wearing due to being used for access to the bore and access to the Yalata Airstrip. As part of the road is also used for Airstrip access, medical vehicles and the local Ambulance frequently use the road.Sections of the road will be resheeted while other sections of the road will be graded. This will bring the road up to a safe standard, particularly for emergency vehicles using part of this road.
Arcadian Circuit, Carlingford NSW 2118 - 095166-17NSW-RTR
The existing pavement is affected by numerous cracks, pavement failures and deformations. The road surface is old, brittle and prone to development of potholes. Some sections of kerb and gutters are cracked and displaced.The proposed works includes repair of damaged sections of kerb and gutters, reconstruction of failed pavement areas and resurfacing of the road with hot mix asphalt. Length = 420 m, Width = 7 m, Area = 2940 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $273,579
Park Street, Rozelle - 095167-17NSW-RTR
Distressed road surface has wide-spread potholes and extensive cracking.Propose to re-sheet the entire length of 0.2km and the width of 5.9m with some heavy patchingTotal cost of proposed project is $40,000
Adolphus Street, Balmain - 095168-17NSW-RTR
Distressed road surface has wide-spread potholes and extensive cracking.Propose to re-sheet the entire length of 0.21km and the width of 5.7m with some heavy patching.Total cost of proposed project is $55,000
Pilchera Bore Road (Rural Road) - 095169-17SA-RTR
Base material has worn down on existing surface and needs re-sheetingRe-sheet 6.4km of road from intersection with Karoonda Highway heading eastward along Pilchera Bore Road. 8m wide x 150mm thick. Construct appropriate storm-water drainage on road verge to allow for water run-off.Total cost of proposed project is $203,221

Wren Road (Rural Road) - 095172-17WA-RTR
the existing unsealed surface becomes very slippery when wet as it is predominately a clay surface.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total distance of 1890 metres. The new gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Rob Veivers Drive, Kuranda - 095173-17QLD-RTR
The existing 6.0m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial and passenger vehicles and bicycles using this section of Rob Veivers Drive. Passing vehicles combined with bicycle traffic are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users. The existing road pavement is also substandard and is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 6.0m wide bitumen road to 9.0m, to allow for the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles and bicyles, and the reconstruction of the existing road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity.Total cost of proposed project is $504,117
Marshall Rock South Road (Rural Road) - 095174-17WA-RTR
The existing unsealed surface becomes very slippery when wet as it is predominately a clay surface.For the entire 1410 metre section construct a new 9.0 metre wide b 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway. New gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
