Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Louisville Road, Triabunna - 095185-17TAS-RTR
Entire road length is too narrow for current/future traffic volumes. Existing sub-base pavement and bitumen seal have failed. Existing roadside drainage pipes cannot cope with high rainfall events.It is proposed to undertake full road reconstruction works along the length, widen the pavement and replace sub-standard stormwater infrastructure.Total cost of proposed project is $622,405
Fifty Two Mile Road (Rural Road) - 095186-17NSW-RTR
Road is currently unsealed for a distance of 1.5 km between sections of sealed formation. This unsealed section includes a narrow, poorly cambered bend which creates a road safety hazard.Realign and correctly camber bend, gravel and stabilise 1.5 km of road formation and seal the new construction.Total cost of proposed project is $525,163
Fifty Two Mile Road (Rural Road) - 095187-17NSW-RTR
This section of road has a number of 'sand hills' which become very soft sand during dry weather resulting in unsafe road conditions. A road fatality occurred earlier this year when a motor bike rider hit a soft sand section of road.Gravel sheet and stabilise the road with a bitumen additive designed to increase the bearing capacity of the road formation.
South Road, Pearshape ( Rural Road) - 095188-17TAS-RTR
There was a narrow section of the South Road emerging from Old Grassy Road making Old Grassy Road a collector of South Road. There is a need to make a T intersection to adjust the road hierarchy to make South Road as the main road. There is also a need to improve the turning radius at the T intersection for haulage trucks.The cost associated will include the ripping off the existing deteriorated wearing course, widening the road at corners to the full depth and then sealing the intersection. It will also include line marking and signage.
Kiacatoo Road (Rural Road) - 095190-17NSW-RTR
The sealed surface has reached the end of its economical life and significant cracking and potholing.Reseal approximately 5 km of road
Mitchell Road, Clare - 095191-17QLD-RTR
Pavement and subgrade failures due to saturated subgrade and increased volume of heavy vehicles.Reconstruction of 1km section of road including improvements to drainage and subgrade and the construction of a bitumen sealed pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Culgoa Lalbert Road, Rural Road, Culgoa VIC 3530 - 095192-17VIC-RTR
Cracked and degraded road seal surfaceSealing of 2.085 km length and 6.0 m width Road surface.
Gibbs Road, Banjup - 095193-17WA-RTR
In response to high safety concern and existing traffic flow through intersection and a number of the traffic accidents, the City has proposed upgrade of Gibbs Road & Liddelow Road intersection. The investigation identified the need to install a roundabout, which will improve the traffic movement and reduce vehicles conflict.The proposed work involves the reconstruction of the existing 4 way intersect to a roundabout intersection, complete associated drainage work, provide safe pedestrian crossing and lighting.Total cost of proposed project is $680,000
Yuengroon Road, rural Road, Charlton VIC 3525 - 095194-17VIC-RTR
Cracked and degraded road seal surface.Sealing of 1.56 km length and 6.0 m width road surface.
Grices Road, Tea Tree. - 095195-17TAS-RTR
Narrow section. These works will allow vehicles to pass on these sections.Excavator and roackbreaker to widen the road from 3metres in width to 5.5metres
