Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kalinda Road - 034726-09NSW-RTR
Currently traffic safety is compromised due to the existing Y-intersection and poor drainage. This causes accidents because of poor visibility and confusion to travellers on which road has the priority. From this intersection towards Wyangan Avenue is gravel, which is dusty, narrow and dangerous to the travelling public.To develop a T-intersection to improve traffic safety by changing the existing Y-intersection and priority of Kalinda Road to Old Aerodrome Road and construction of 850m of road toward Wyangan Avenue. Works will include drainage, signage and sealing.Total cost of proposed project is $495,584
Racecourse Road, Mornington - 035285-09VIC-RTR
Racecourse Road in Mornington is an important local road under development pressure that needs to be brought up to current day standards with kerb and channel and drainage. There are also significant current safety issues and road congestion associated with this section of road. Pavement is sub-standard leading to pavement failures and increased safety issues.Reconstruction of the road will provide a wider pavement, improved alignment, underground drainage, kerb and channel and bus bays. Proposed works are 1km long from Mornington-Tyabb Road to Booker Avenue with a sealed pavement width of 9.0m metres allowing for two through lanes and a central right-turn lane.
Hodgins Road, Hastings - 035293-09VIC-RTR
Hodgins Street, Hastings is an important local road under development pressure, that need to be brought up to current day standards with kerb and channel, drainage. Pavement is sub-standard leading to pavement failures and increased safety issues.Reconstruction of the road will improve safety conditions and meet current future demands for this section of road, through the construction of 6.5 wide pavement width. Full works to be part of R2R4.
Bungower Road, Somerville - 035294-09VIC-RTR
The intersections of Bungower Road and Tyabb-Tooradin Road in Somerville, is considered a high risk area which requires urgent operational improvements to reduce risk to motorists. This is a minimal standard rural Road with a poorly aligned intersection and increasing traffic volumes(from 400-4,000 vpd) on recently constructed section of Bungower Road to the west.The construction of the roundabout will improve safety risks and traffic congestion to motorist. Works will also provide for improved delineation and drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $1,600,000
Bridgewater Raywood Road (Rural Road) - 035373-09VIC-RTR
2.35km of sealed Pavement heading East from Bendigo Pyramid Road is in poor condition and requires rehabilitation. High volume of commercial traffic and proximity of large trees to roadside also warrants widening of this section of road.Resheet and widen approx 2.35km of narrow pavement to 6.2m. Remove 13 trees which are in close proximity to edge of pavement. Widen single lane culvert structure and install new guard rail. Project is being jointly funded by a grant recieved through Regional Development Victoria's Local Roads to Markets Program based upon a 50/50 contribution.Total cost of proposed project is $1,021,997
Molong Gumble Road - 035758-09NSW-RTR
Narrow uneven and scoured gravel pavement.Widen and bitumen seal existing alignment.
Hurley Road - 036073-09WA-RTR
Road is too narrow and surface not satisfactory to cater for inreasing size of grain cartage vehicles carting to CBH grain storage at Narrakine.Propose to clear, widen and gravel sheet the road for a length of 11.00kms and a width of 9 metres.
Culbin Boraning Road - 036074-09WA-RTR
Road is too narrow and surface unsatisfactory for increasing size and number of grain cartage vehicles accessing the CBH grain storage facility at Narrakine.Propose to clear, widen and gravel sheet the road for a length of 11.5 kms and a width of 9 metres.
