Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Boundary Road, Coldstream - 036152-09VIC-RTR
The existing road has a crushed rock formation requiring ongoing maintenance, with residents experiencing problems associated with dust, corrugations and potholes. The road services abutting rural properties. Construction of the existing unmade rural road will improve the amenity and quality of access for these properties.Construction of the existing unmade road (4700 metres) from Cormilo Road to 900 m north of Killara Road generally for a width of 5.0 metres with a rural standard spray sealed pavement. Works will also upgrade existing roadside table drains and driveway culverts.Total cost of proposed project is $1,260,704
Slopes Road, North Richmond - 036343-09NSW-RTR
This section of road is exhibiting severe signs of pavement failure namely verticle deformation, extensive cracking, potholes rutting.Rehabilitate failed pavement
Warrego Highway - Rest Areas
The project involved the construction of new or upgraded rest areas, heavy vehicle stopping places and audible edge lines on the Warrego Highway.
Warrego Highway - Overtaking Lanes
This project involved the construction of up to five extra overtaking lanes on the Warrego Highway between Oakey and Dalby.
Bruce Highway - Caboolture to Curra - Upgrade of Caboolture to Caloundra
This project involved the upgrading the intersections and interchanges between Caboolture and Caloundra.
Bruce Highway - Caboolture to Curra - Black Spots
The project involved safety enhancement works at known crash blackspots on the Bruce Highway between Caboolture and Curra.
Warrego Highway - Upgrade from Roma to Mitchell
The project involved strengthening and widening works on the Warrego Highway, the construction of a new higher level bridge over the Maranoa River at Mitchell and a new breakdown area on the western outskirts of Roma to enable an extension of the type 2 road train route from Mitchell. The project has improved the safety and efficiency of freight and stock movements in western Queensland.
Bruce Highway - Vantassel Street to Cluden Duplication
This project involved the duplication of approximately seven kilometres of the Bruce Highway from Vantassel Street to Cluden, south of Townsville, to four lanes and construction of a new high level bridge over Stuart Creek Bridge.
Bruce Highway - Sarina to Cairns - Realign and Raise Highway from Sandy Corner to Collinsons Lagoon
The project involved the realignment and raising of a four kilometre section of the Bruce Highway from Sandy Corner to Collinsons Lagoon, nine kilometres north of Ayr.
Bruce Highway - Curra to Sarina - Black Spots
The project involves safety enhancement works at known crash blackspots on the Bruce Highway between Curra and Sarina.
