Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Leyburn Forestry Road, Leyburn - 051786-14QLD-RTR
Existing seal was in a poor condition and pavement was damaged due to water seepage. Pavement repair works and resealing was carried out to rehabilitate the road surface to protect the pavement.Pavement repair works (from Council fund) and resealing works (from RTR fund). Seal width is 5.9 metres ;

Jacobsen Road, Gladfield - 051789-14QLD-RTR
Existing seal was in a poor condition and pavement was damaged due to water seepage. Old Caves Road, Naracoorte - 051790-14SA-RTR
Narrow bitumen road. Shoulders in poor condition. Undulating surface. Low lying with drainage issues.Remove trees and install culverts to improve drainage. Widen road and resurface. This will be a staged project over a number of yearsTotal cost of proposed project is $441,780

Rocky Mouth Creek Road, WOODBURN NSW 2472, - 051798-14NSW-RTR
Significant rutting and failed pavementOverlay with gravel to correct shape to improve road surface drainage, along with full excavation and replacement with gravel in areas of major deformation, stabilise with lime and bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000
Golden Mile Road (rural road), - 051799-14QLD-RTR
The existing drainage structures do not allow a sufficient flow of water during heavy rainfalls and flooding which leads to flooding over the road. This has led to some fatal accidents in the pastTo remove existing pipes and culverts and replace with box culverts and floodway to better allow drainage and raise road heightTotal cost of proposed project is $450,000
Spoonbill Road (rural road), - 051800-14QLD-RTR
This section of road is in a very flat area which limits drainage. The road section has inadequate gravel quantities leading to road flooding and limited access during wet weatherReconstruction of road including earthworks, drainage, gravel placement and 2 coat bitumen seal to increase road height & flood immunityTotal cost of proposed project is $185,000
McDonald Flat Road (rural road) - 051801-14QLD-RTR
This section of road is in a very flat area which limits drainage.
