Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rheola Street, West Perth - 051845-14WA-RTR
Road surface is cracked and its condition is deteriorating.Road rehabilitation including profiling and resurfacing.
Balumbah Kinnard (RuralRoad) - 051846-14SA-RTR
The existing gravel surface is deteriorating rapidly due to the increase of heavy vehicle traffic as this is a Road train and B-Double route This has made the road unsafe at times for the general publicThe project will be reconstructing the original gravel road to a 11 metre formation with a 8 metre two coat seal(14/7 millimetre aggregate)The road has been surveyed and designed to specifications to improve sight distance and gradients for all road users Bitumising will reduce the dust impact for road users and the environmentTotal cost of proposed project is $811,200
North Rocks Road - 051847-14NSW-RTR
The road surface is affected by numerous cracks and potholes. The existing surface is old, brittle and prone to cracking. It is disintegrating in multiple areas within the road section.The proposed work will include the replacement of old and deteriorated material with asphalt and resurfacing of the road section with asphalt. Length = 100 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 1200 m2.
Graham Road, Quinns Rocks. - 051848-14WA-RTR
Substandard existing road carriageway, with limited stormwater drainage control. NOTE: This road forms part of "Old" Quinns Rocks that was originally developed as a seaside holiday location and is now surrounded by new land subdivisonal development.Rehabilitation of the existing carriageway (where required) and associated stormwater drainage system upgrade to urban subdivisonal standard for the full length of the road. Works will also include upgrade of existing kerbing, replacement of the existing footpath (where required) and reconnection of existing vehicle crossovers impacted by the drainage works.Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
Shaftsbury Road - 051849-14NSW-RTR
Road pavement has extensive failures to over 20% of the area. Kerb and gutter failed for over 40% of the length. Pavement length 443m width 11.8mRehabilitation of the pavement by heavy patching, profiling and resurfacing. Reconstruction of 552m failed kerb and gutterTotal cost of proposed project is $406,000
Stroud Street, Quindalup - 051850-14WA-RTR
The 23 year old road surface has come to the end of its life and requires a new surface. This is a result of potholes, the age of the surface and some flooding issues that also need to be addressed.The old serface material will be removed and replaced with new. The level of the road will be fixed to stop existing flooding issues.Total cost of proposed project is $58,263
Bloor Street, Quindalup - 051851-14WA-RTR
The road is in very poor condition. This is a result of the age of the seal that is now very rough, worn and uneven.The road needs to be fully reconstructed. The old material will be removed and the road base repaired. New material will then be added. The kerbing will also be replaced.
Berry Street, Quindalup - 051852-14WA-RTR
The road is in very poor condition. This is a result of the age of the surface that has heavy patching, is very rough and uneven.The road needs to be fully reconstructed. The old material will be removed and the pavement will be repaired. New surface material will then be added. The kerbing will also be replaced.Total cost of proposed project is $66,850
Whatman Street, Quindalup - 051853-14WA-RTR
The 32 year old road seal is now in a very poor condition. This is a result of potholes and the age of the surface.The road will be resurfaced to restore the condition and travelability.
Bolgart East Road (rural road) - 051854-14WA-RTR
Will eliminate dust for traffic use between Goomalling and Bolgart Town sites and will improve the road for use by Heavey Haulage Vehicles, School Bus, Tourists, Local and Regional traffic between the towns of Goomalling and Bolgart and beyond.Construct and Primer Seal gravel road to 6.5 metre bitumen width commencing from 4.9 straight line kilometre to 5.0 straight line kilometre, second coat seal from 4.0 straight line kilometre to 4.9 straight line kilometre. Both projects to be carried in 2014/15
