Pinnacle Road, Rural Road - 051935-14NSW-RTR
This section of Pinnacle Road consists of only a 3.8m wide bituminous surface. This puts strains on the edge of the pavement which requires constant repairs and reduces safety to traffic especially to the heavy vehicles including school buses. Pinnacle Road will ultimately become a B-double route after the completion of this project. It is intended to widen the road formation to 8m with a 7m wide bitumen seal and a 0.5m unsealed shoulder on both sides. This project will include erecting & removing traffic control at the site, removing & reinstating signs & guideposts, clearing, excavation, adding gravel, widening the pavement, reconstructing the table drains, shaping, compacting, trimming and primersealing incorporating 10mm aggregates with a 5mm scatter coat.
