Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Greigs Creek Road, Won Wron - 051987-14VIC-RTR
Existing timber bridge is in the last stages of its useful life. Built to standards of more than 50 yrs ago with the increase in traffic volumes and weights of vehicles, the bridge is showing signs of wear and the structural integrity of the bridge elements has decrease to a point where it is currently load limited at 10T. The bridge also shows signs of termite damage. The bridge is for local access only.To bring the bridge up to date with current standards, it is proposed to replace the existing bridge with concrete/steel structure, capable of supporting a minimum 23T.

A Significant heavy vehicle movements necessitates the need to widen the existing 6.0m road.Widen to 7.6m and rehabilitate sections as required. Widen and seal shoulders and drainage works as required. Bituminous Sealing - 7mm primerseal
Lower Cairnbrook Road (Rural Road) - 051989-14VIC-RTR
Significant heavy vehicle movements and increasing maintenance due to potholing and edge breaking, necessitates the need to widen the existing road to 6 metres and seal.Widen to 6.0m and rehabilitate sections including additional pavement material as required. Bituminous Sealing - 7mm primerseal
Heyfield Dawson Road - Commercial Road, Heyfield - 051990-14VIC-RTR
Sub-standard intersection alignment in the form of a 'Y' shape, resulting in dangerous vehicle movements. The intersection is deemed unsafe and there is a need to realign to a 'T' shaped intersection to improve safety.Realignment of road intersection to improve safety, rationalising & channelling vehicles into controlled entry and exit points and ensure adequate sight distances by redesigning to a 'T' shaped intersection.
Morison Street - Fulton Road, Maffra - 051991-14VIC-RTR
Existing cross road, accident history shows high levels of non compliance with existing controls. The intersection is deemed unsafe and there is a need to realign to an offset cross road intersection to improve safety.Realign intersection by offsetting the northern leg of the intersection to improve safety, channelling vehicles into controlled entry and exit points and ensure adequate sight distances.
