Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Grover Way, Medina WA 6167 - 052176-14WA-RTR
Old seal is cracking allowing penetration of water into asphalt. Identified on council's road condition assessment as requiring intervention.Profile existing wearing course applying 20mm semi-mastic asphalt as a corrector course. Apply 30mm semi-mastic asphalt wearing course.
Browns Lane - 052177-14TAS-RTR
Existing timber bridge has reached the end of its useful life.Replace of existing timber bridge with a single lane concrete bridge. Length 12m, width 4.5m.Total cost of proposed project is $292,000
Queen Street, Sebastopol - 052178-14VIC-RTR
Urban collector road with poor pavement and narrow seal in a growing residential area.Queen Street will be reconstructed to a collector road standard with new kerb and channel, drainage and strengthen pavementTotal cost of proposed project is $609,676
Henry Street, Naval Base WA 6165 - 052179-14WA-RTR
Extensive stone loss of the existing surface exposing bitumen seal resulting in the development of potholes.Undertake pavement repairs on affected areas, profile existing wearing course and resurface the entire section with 40mm asphalt wearing course.Total cost of proposed project is $39,190
Watson Road - 052181-14VIC-RTR
Pavement has failed due to subgrade issues and substandard pavement construction causing the road to become unsafe to road users. There are also natural springs contributing to the pavement failure that need to be addressed.It is proposed to rehabilitate the section of road using a lime and cement treatment and mixing it with the existing pavement. Then bridge the stabilized pavement with an 200 millimetres heavy duty asphalt overlay. Aggregate drains will also be installed to pick up the sub surface water.
Tilson Court - 052182-14VIC-RTR

Alola Street, Kelmscott - 052184-14WA-RTR
Alola Street is an existing urban street with pavement age exceeding 20 years. Asphalt wearing course has areas of cracking and flushing and kerbing along both sides of the road is damaged and has very little kerb face.Proposed treatment is to remove and replace kerbing along both sides for full length i.e. 200m with new mountable kerb, crack seal and then apply 30mm dense graded asphalt overlay.
Grovelands Drive, Camillo - 052185-14WA-RTR
Existing heavily trafficked urban street with adjacent schools and on a bus route. Pavement age exceeds 20 years. Asphalt wearing course has areas of cracking, and flushing and kerbing along both sides of the road is damaged and has very little kerb face. There are also some isolated sections of wearing course / pavement failure. The existing footpath along a number of sections is also in poor condition.Proposed treatment is to remove and replace kerbing along both sides for full length of works i.e. 650m with new semi-mountable kerb, crack seal, repair failed areas of pavement and then apply 30mm stone mastic asphalt overlay for full length i.e. 650m.
Adelphi Road, Claremont - 052186-14TAS-RTR
Adelphi Road is a local urban road, serving adjacent residential properties. The road and associated infrastructure was constructed in the 1950's and is at the end of its useful service life. The road pavement is in need of reconstruction. New road surfacing is required and kerb and channel and footpaths need to be replaced.Excavation and replacement of the road pavement and new sealed surfacing. Replace kerb & channel, footpaths and driveways in the area of works.Total cost of proposed project is $765,000

unsafe/ unserviceable existing road surfaceGravel resheeting 1.275 Km length 4.0m width road.
