Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Huxley Court, Camillo - 052188-14WA-RTR
Existing urban street with pavement age exceeding 25 years. Apshalt wearing course has areas of cracking, and kerbing along both sides of the road is damaged and has very little kerb face. There are also areas of tree root intrusion into the road pavement from verge trees.Proposed treatment is to remove and replace kerbing along both sides for full length of works i.e. 220m with new mountable kerb, crack seal, remove or sever tree roots and then apply 30mm stone mastic asphalt overlay for full length i.e. 220m.
Heritage Drive, Roleystone - 052189-14WA-RTR
Existing urban street i.e. kerbed both sides, piped drainage etc. However, Heritage Drive is in a rural area of Roleystone with a pavement age of over 20 years. The full length of red asphalt wearing course has rather severe longitudinal cracks.Proposed treatment is to crack seal all cracks for the full length of the road with red emulsion.Total cost of proposed project is $54,900

unsafe/ unserviceable existing road surfaceGravel resheeting 3.416 Km length 4.0m width road.
Euston Street, Claremont - 052191-14TAS-RTR
Euston Street is a local urban street, serving adjacent residential properties. Euston Street was constructed in 1966 and is nearly at the end of its useful service life. The road pavement is in need of reconstruction. In addition, the adjacent kerb & channel and footpath have deteriorated to the extent that they no longer perform their required function to an acceptable level. New road surfacing is required and kerb & channel and footpaths need to be replaced.Excavation and replacement of the road pavement and new sealed surfacing. Replace kerb & channel, footpaths and driveways in the area of works.Total cost of proposed project is $467,000
Gormons Road - 052192-14VIC-RTR
unsafe/ unserviceable existing road surfaceGravel resheeting 1.990 Km length 4.0m width road.
Culgoa Lalbert Road - 052193-14VIC-RTR
unsafe/unserviceable shoulder surface.Shoulder Gravel resheeting 0.80km Length width 1.5m both sides.
Racecourse Road - 052194-14SA-RTR
Base and seal reached end of useful life and showing signs of fatigue. Evidence of extensive rutting and crocodile cracking. Racecourse Road is a key heavy vehicle route and the current treatment is not sufficient.Reconstruct by recycle insitu and remixing of existing base material to nominal depth of 200mm. Reseal of 50mm modified binder asphalt overlay to suit heavy vehicle movements. Linemarking once complete.Total cost of proposed project is $910,000
Shaftesbury Avenue, Bedford - 052195-14WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 25 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Potholes in certain sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 1200m long and 7.476m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A = 8971.2 m2
Clement Street, Bedford - 052196-14WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 25 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Potholes in certain sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 513m long and 7.6m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A = 3898.8 m2
The Strand, Bedford and Bayswater - 052197-14WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 25 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Potholes in certain sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 807.7m long and 7.2m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A = 5815.44 m2
