Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Insufficenent existing seal width for increasing traffic leading to an unsafe situation for passing traffic. Existing seal is only 3.5m.Reconstruct and widen road to 9m formation with a 7m sealfor 1.4km
Cummings Road (Rural Road) - 052242-14NSW-RTR
Currently road has insufficient seal width (5.5m) and pavement is poor condition, and with inceasing traffic is creating a safety issue for users.Reconstruction and widening of road to a 9m formation and 7m seal
Elizabeth St Culcairn - 052243-14NSW-RTR
Road is in very poor condition, with significant pavement failures, and poor drainageReconstruction of road including kerb and channel and drainage improvements
Geographe Bay Road, Quindalup - 052244-14WA-RTR
The road is in very poor condition. This is a result of the age of the surface that is now very rough, worn and uneven.The road needs to be reconstructed. The old material will be removed and the road base repaired. New material will then be added. The kerbing and driveways will also be reinstated.
Memana Road, Memana - 052245-14TAS-RTR
Sections of the road are due to a reseal as required by the Council's 15 year reseal program. There are safety concerns due to the deterioration of the sealed road.Reseal the identified sections of the road with Class 170 Bitumen and 10mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $118,433

There are continual issues with blue metal stripping and it is a traffic hazard. The reseal of Lackrana road has been identified by the 15 year reseal program.Reseal 2.3 kms with Class 170 Bitumen and 10mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $141,202
Dubbo Collie Road (Rural Road) - 052250-14NSW-RTR
Narrow formation width of 6m. Narrow bitumen seal of 3.5 m, Significant pavement failure, edge drop off. Significant heavy vehicle route between Collie and Dubbo.Widen formation to 8m, Rip, reshape existing road and overlay with gravel pavement 0.15 m thick. Provide bitumen seal 6.5m wide. We only propose to do a single coat (primer) seal in this instance and to do the second seal coat approx 12 months later as a separate project.
