Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Riverdale Road, Cookernup (rural road) - 114073-20WA-RTR
Old narrow seal is breaking away long edges due to increase in heavy vehicles and age of existing aggregate seal causing vehicles conflict along the narrow sealIt is proposed to widen the formation to 9m width to allow a 7m seal and improved table drainage to be constructed. A new gravel pavement will be constructed to ensure the new two coat seal will perform to optimum for the roads statusTotal cost of proposed project is $280,000
Banca Road, Waterhouse - 114091-20TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety.Apply a layer of surface gravel 5m wide, 100mm deep to restore running surface.Total cost of proposed project is $510,103
Westbourne Road (Rural Road) - 114088-20WA-RTR
The road bend located within these Straight Line Kilometres is narrow with inadequate line of site and a steep super-elevation; all of which creates the opportunity for vehicular conflict with many 'near misses' occurring in the past. In addition this section of road has been worn down to a sandy sub-grade over time exposing a culvert that crosses at the midpoint of this section of road. This a school bus route in addition to a heavy haulage route.Marginally widen the road, raise the road level of the inside curve, thus reducing the super-elevation, and gravel re-sheet the entire section with 150mm of gravel compacted to 100mm.
Scotts Brook Road (Rural Road) - 114089-20WA-RTR
This section of road has limited sub-base and has worn down to a sandy sub-grade which is rapidly deteriorating, mainly due to heavy haulage activity, resulting in escalating maintenance costs. In addition to being a heavy haulage route it is also a school bus route.Gravel re-sheeting of the section with 300mm of gravel compacted to 200mm.
Kulikup Road South (Rural Road) - 114090-20WA-RTR
This section of road has limited sub-base and has worn down to a sandy sub-grade with some protruding natural rock along several areas of this length of the road. Works are to continue on from last year to finalise the rehabilitation of this road and address thrapid deterioration of the road pavement which has impacted safe driving conditions and dramatically increased maintenance costs. This is a school bus route and a heavy haulage route.Gravel re-sheeting of this section of road with 300mm of gravel compacted to 200mm.
Homestead Road, Waterhouse - 114092-20TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety.Apply a layer of surface gravel 5m wide, 100mm deep to restore running surface.Total cost of proposed project is $183,605
Golconda Road, Nabowla - 114093-20TAS-RTR
The current sealed surface has degraded due to age and vehicle movements requiring a new sealed surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety.Apply a 10mm reseal 7m wide to waterproof pavement and improve skid resistance.Total cost of proposed project is $137,106
Cassandra Crescent, Urangan - 114100-20QLD-RTR
This road is exhibiting a high frequency of pavement failures including rutting and shoving resulting in high levels of roughness.Road reconstruction including the removal of existing pavement, construction of new gravel pavement and asphalt surfacing.Total cost of proposed project is $900,000
Teddington Road, Tinana - 114099-20QLD-RTR
This road is exhibiting a high frequency of pavement failures including rutting and shoving resulting in high levels of roughness.Road reconstruction including the removal of existing pavement, construction of new gravel pavement and bitumen and asphalt surfacing.Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
James St, Maryborough - 114098-20QLD-RTR
This road is exhibiting a high frequency of pavement failures including rutting and shoving resulting in high levels of roughness.Road reconstruction including the removal of existing pavement, construction of new gravel pavement and asphalt surfacing.
