Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Marma Box Creek (Rural Road) - 116947-21NSW-RTR
The road surface is extremely dusty and boggy due to loose material. The road level is below the natural surface making it impassable in wet conditions. This road is the main route to Mungo National Park from Balranald township.Gravel construction 9m wide and 7m seal for a length of 5km. This will include the installation of table drains to improve drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $781,675
Tapalin Mail (Rural Road) - 116946-21NSW-RTR
Over time sections of the road have been graded down below surrounding ground level resulting in drainage issues. The unsealed road gets corrugations, wheel tracks, and potholes. The road is closed in wet conditions.To construct and seal a 2km section leading up to the shire boundary. Includes realignment around two curves to improve sight distance and safety, replacement of double grid, and install culverts in two locations. The road is to be constructed to a 9m width formation with a 7m seal.Total cost of proposed project is $505,532
Leslie Drive (Rural Road) - 116944-21NSW-RTR
The current width of the seal on Leslie drive is 5.5m and does not allow for two vehicles to pass without going off the seal, especially with a planned increase in heavy vehicle traffic.To extend shoulders at 1.5m on either side of the existing seal, this will include extending existing culverts to match the new width. To place a new seal at a width of 0.75m on either side of Leslie Drive (widen from 5.5m to 7.0m) and then reseal the entire job at the length of 1.6km.Total cost of proposed project is $305,255
Harrogate Road , Harrogate - 116961-21SA-RTR
Road currently is an unsealed road with a poor base pavement and is subject to pot holes and corrugations.Remove and replace the pavement and apply a spray seal surface.Total cost of proposed project is $1,013,696
Henley Road, Kangaroo Ground - 116895-21VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its useful life.Profile existing sealed surface where necessary, patch any failures and apply new sprayed seal over the full width of existing sealed pavement, then reinstate pavement markings and signage.Total cost of proposed project is $65,000
Aqueduct Road, Greensborough - 116894-21VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its useful life.Profile existing sealed surface where necessary, apply new crumbed rubber asphalt overlay over the full width of existing sealed pavement, then reinstate pavement markings and signage.

Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its useful life.Profile existing sealed surface where necessary, apply new crumbed rubber asphalt overlay over the full width of existing sealed pavement, then reinstate pavement markings and signage.Total cost of proposed project is $45,000
Treetop Terrace, Plenty - 116892-21VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its useful life.Profile existing sealed surface where necessary, apply new crumbed rubber asphalt overlay over the full width of existing sealed pavement, then reinstate pavement markings and signage.
