Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

O'Meehans Road (rural road) - 118501-21WA-RTR
This road has a combination of heavy and light vehicles. The road subgrade material in this area is sandy and this causes large blowouts. The running surface of the road becomes dangerous especially over the dry summer months.To clear drains and reshape running surface of the road and gravel sheet. This will give strength to the road and prevent the large blowouts from occurring.
Gnowellen Road (rural road) - 118498-21WA-RTR
The running surface of the road has very little gravel and potholes form again soon after grading. It also becomes slippery in the winter months. This causes safety issues between the combination of heavy and light vehicles.To reshape drains and road shape and gravel re-sheet 2.36km to 8 meters wide. This is will allow water to shed off the road and improve safety for heavy and light combination vehicles.
Gillard Crescent, Katherine - 118503-21NT-RTR
Gillard Crescent is located in an industrial estate that services the heavy vehicle transport industry. As such it has a large number of daily movements of triple and quad road trains. The road pavement has failed in various sections, particularly at the end of the road where heavy vehicles turn around. The seal is also stripping at a number of locations.This project will reconstruct the failed sections and include asphalt surfacing at the turning areas. Other areas will resealed with a new 14mm seal.

The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidization.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied
Beaumont Road (Rural Road) - 118505-21NSW-RTR
The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidization.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied
Delungra By Pass Road (Rural Road) - 118506-21NSW-RTR
The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidization.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied
Karinda Drive (Rural Road) - 118508-21NSW-RTR
The bitumen sealed road surface has reached the end of its useful life, it is exhibiting cracking, deformation and oxidisation.A new layer of bitumen/aggregate seal will be applied
