Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Duns Creek Road (Rural road in the rural locality of Duns Creek) - 118492-21NSW-RTR
Poor formation shape, unsealed road pavement between an existing sections of sealed road.Adjust road formation shape, reshape table drains, minor road pavement widening and sealing of the pavement surface.Total cost of proposed project is $410,000
Strome Road, Applecross - 118491-21WA-RTR
Road beginning to fail in various sections. Road surface is old and rough and needs resurfacingRehabilitation of select number of sections along the road that are currently failing. The works is to be undertaken as part of a more general upgrade that may include a complete resurfacing of the road and kerb replacements as required.Total cost of proposed project is $213,000
Boona Road (rural road) - 118493-21NSW-RTR
Existing road surface is crushed gravel surface with which is potholed and much of the gravel has been lost due to vehicle movement and flooding over several years.Road will be gravel re-sheeted with 100 mm of crushed gravel and additional drainage will be installed to minimize gravel loss.
Melbourne to Mildura - Baileys Road Intersection
This project upgraded the intersection of the Calder Highway with Baileys Road at Lake Tyrrell near Sea Lake, Victoria.
Alice Springs to Halls Creek Corridor Upgrade (WA)
The Alice Springs to Halls Creek corridor is a cross jurisdictional link route that includes the Stuart Highway, Tanami Road, Browns Range Road, and surrounding roads. The project will deliver targeted upgrades to the Western Australia section of the corridor through the following projects: • Duncan Road and Gordon Downs Road Upgrade; and the • Tanami Road Upgrade.
Oleander Road, Maslin Beach - 118490-21SA-RTR
Pavement failure and unconstrained seal. localised flooding and lack of pedestrian accessreplacement of pavement and seal including edge beams to prevent edge breaks. installation of new stormwater system and footpath
Salt River Road (rural road) - 118500-21WA-RTR
This section of road has an increasing number of heavy combination vehicles and tourist vehicles and is also a designated school bus route. Due to the poor materials on the road heavy vehicles cause large blowouts and the high clay component makes the road slippery when wet. This causes safety issues for all users.To clear drains, reshape running surface and gravel sheet to 8 meters wide. This will improve the skid resistance and provide a safer road for school bus and heavy combination vehicles. It will also reduce maintenance costs
