Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Unsafe Shoulder with gravel lost and narrow pavement seal with edge drop.Shoulder resheeting 3.62 km 1.5m width both sides
Wye Farm Road,Yardarino(Rural Road) - 119659-22WA-RTR
Lack of remaining gravel on the road surface.Propose to re-sheet the road for a length of 5.78 km to a width of 9 meters. Works to include reinstatement of V drains and installation of new safety traffic signs and guide posts.
Grigg Road (Rural Road) - 119662-22WA-RTR
Single Lane Seal is in poor condition, required upgrading to a two lane sealed road.An upgrade to a two lane sealed road is required to improve road safety and ensure that the road can continue to perform its functionTotal cost of proposed project is $1,550,000

The existing unsealed road is in poor condition and requires a limestone resheet.Re-sheeting is required to ensure that the road surface can continue to be driven on safely.Total cost of proposed project is $279,200

The bridge approach road surface and pavement are failing and require an asphalt pavement to ensure the safety and functionality of the bridge.Profile approaches, 110mm asphalt pavement and 40mm asphalt overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
Karomin Road (Rural Road) - 119670-22WA-RTR
Worn and uneven with very little gravel which becomes slippery when wet.Gravel re-sheet to and construct a 150mm thick 8 meter wide compacted pavement. Reconstruct drainage and improve signage. Total length of reconstruction 2.00 kmTotal cost of proposed project is $49,075
Bonnie Rock - Lake Brown Road (Rural Road) - 119673-22WA-RTR

Mt Moffatt Road (Rural Road) - 119660-22QLD-RTR
The road surface material is progressively reaching the end of its useful life. The material is deteriorating to fine dust which can cause an increased level of risk for road users - both passing in opposing directions and followingIt is proposed to gravel resheet at 8.18km section of the Mt Moffatt RoadTotal cost of proposed project is $1,392,730
Battlecamp Road (Rural Road) - 119680-22QLD-RTR
Current culvert pipe is in need of replacement and upgrading in order to ensure adequate drainage for assessed water flow rates. The old AMCO pipe (Corrugated Steel) is at the end of its life showing significant rust. Further, the lack of solid headwalls and batter protection, has led to erosion that in time will threaten the integrity of the road.The proposed project is replacement of old Amco pipe (2.3m dia.) culvert with a box culvert of 2.1 x 2.1m size including headwalls and batter protection. The work consists of removal of old pipe, concrete work on base slab, supply and installation of box culvert, backfill and gravel pavement on top.Total cost of proposed project is $226,029
