Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Old Pitt Town Road, Box Hill - 119663-22NSW-RTR
Poor pavement condition is currently resulting in unsafe site conditions. This project will allow for improvements in safety and reduction in ongoing reactive maintenance. Issues being addressed: Extensive shoulder break and potholesRehabilitation of relevant surface and pavement sections. Planned Treatment: Deep lift asphalt patching followed by a 2 coat sealTotal cost of proposed project is $310,000
Pitt Town Road, Kenthurst - 119661-22NSW-RTR
Major rutting, structural cracking and shoving along the shoulder.Poor pavement condition is currently resulting in unsafe site conditions. This project will allow for improvements in safety and reduction in ongoing reactive maintenance. Rehabilitation of relevant surface and pavement sections. Planned Treatment: A combination of in-situ pavement stabilisation and deep lift asphalts patching to address sever pavement defects.Total cost of proposed project is $410,000
Janbeth Road-Rural Road, (rural road) - 120067-22NSW-RTR
Gravel road is wearing due the increased traffic from cotton industries. Couse dust problem in in the dry and Slippery, boggy when it is wet.Gravel of existing unsealed, un-graveled pavement by adding 75mm of gavel to the existing road
Moncrieff Road - 120068-22QLD-RTR
Damaged unsealed road which is subject to regular damage in wet weather.Reconstruct full length and width of Moncrieff Road from Laudberg Road to Kuhn Road. Two-coat seal for future resilience.Total cost of proposed project is $990,000
Bradley Street, Goulburn - 120066-22NSW-RTR
Existing pavement is deformed with rutting and cracking throughout causing potholes and creating pavement shoving.Milling out the existing pavement to a depth of 150mm and replacing with 150mm deep lift asphalt
Bourke Street - 119991-22NSW-RTR
Existing pavement is rutted for the entire length of the segment causing pot holes to form in the wheel pathMilling out the existing pavement to a depth of 175mm and replacing with deep lift asphalt for the entire length.
Freight Capacity Upgrade Program
The Freight Capacity Upgrade Program is made up of several components of works on key urban and regional freight routes. The project will undertake scoping and delivery of bridges for replacement or strengthening as well the scoping and delivery of road pavement strengthening and rehabilitation on roads across Tasmania.

Baldwin Road, Serpentine - 119916-22WA-RTR
Existing road surface is very old and very poor condition. Most of the surface area is washed-out.Profiling (0-25mm) for whole road surface. Sweeping road surfaces and along the edge of the road on which asphalt is to be placed to a clean condition with no appreciable amounts of loose materials or any other foreign matter remaining. 7mm Primer seal. AC10mm Bitumen Class 170, 50 blow Marshall Mix - 30mm thickness.
