Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

North Road, Yakamia - 121270-22WA-RTR
The existing seal is beginning to fail and needs replacement.Mill and fill to replace to preserve road formationTotal cost of proposed project is $217,700
Horsham-Lubeck Road (Rural Road) - 121261-22VIC-RTR
Significant edge drop off due to loss of gravel on the shoulder. As a result safety issues on these 3.8 m wide sealed roads.Resheet gravel on both shoulders to a width of 2 m on either side to enable adequate width for passing traffic.
Buffalo Creek Road, Buffalo Creek - 121289-22NT-RTR
Road surface in poor condition and requires upgrading as part of sound asset management and ensuring safety for road users.12,000 square metres of new road surfacing along Buffalo Creek Road. The estimated value of the works is $186,000.
Playford Street, Parap - 121290-22NT-RTR
Road surface is in poor condition and requires replacement as part of sound asset management and ensuring safety for road users.2,500 of new surfacing would be provided along Playford Street. The estimated value of the works is $170,000. The remaining $94,084 in R2R monies would be utilised towards the delivery of this project, with the remainder of the funding required ($75,916) being provided by City of Darwin.Total cost of proposed project is $190,768
Wirran Street ,Pormpuraaw 4892 - 121301-22QLD-RTR
After the first rain of the season the road started to subside over a culvert. Upon further investigation it was found that the current culvert consisted of different sized pipes butted together. This allowed for ingress of water between the mismatch pipes into the subgrade thus creating a situation that caused subsidence in the road. The importance of this road cannot be understated . We have one road that allows road freight in which goes under water during the wet season. This means we rely soley on the airport for food,medicine and travel inc access to the flying doctors.This road is the one that leads to the airportTo replace the inadequate pipe work making up the culvert running under the road with 2 x 600dia x2.44 RJ class 2 pipes ending with concrete headwalls. All associated earthworks inc removal and disposal of the existing,install of the new pipes and earthworks to shape the areas around the headwalls
Gnarlbine Road, Coolgardie - 121310-22WA-RTR
The existing road is a 4.5 metre gravel wide and currently in very poor condition and deteriorating as the result of significantly increased volumes of traffic travelling on this section to access the workers accommodation facility.Widen to 9 metres wide, install drainage, full construction with a two coat bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $700,544
Snug Tiers Road, Snug - 121311-22TAS-RTR
• Road degraded with extensive heavy patching • Road not to urban standard • No footpath provision • Snug Tiers Road connects directly to Snug Primary School.715 metres of full road reconstruction, including pavement, kerb and channel, footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $1,100,000
Struck Oil Rd (Rural Road) - 121315-22QLD-RTR
Existing spray seal has reached it asset life and requires rehabilitation.Undertake pavement repairs as required, followed by a bitumen spray seal.Total cost of proposed project is $43,500
Four Mile Rd (Rural Road) - 121314-22QLD-RTR
Existing spray seal has reached it asset life and requires rehabilitation.Undertake pavement repairs as required, followed by a bitumen spray seal.Total cost of proposed project is $74,500
Nicholson Rd (Rural Road) - 121313-22QLD-RTR
Existing spray seal has reached it asset life and requires rehabilitation.Undertake pavement repairs as required, followed by a bitumen spray seal.Total cost of proposed project is $108,500
