Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Commuter Car Park Upgrade - Emu Plains
This project is expected to increase the capacity of the park and ride facilities at Emu Plains Station.
Commuter Car Park Upgrade - T8 East Hills Line - Riverwood
This project is expected to increase the capacity of the park and ride facilities in Riverwood.
Karel Avenue Upgrades
The Karel Avenue Upgrade includes: Widening Karel Avenue bridge over Roe Highway to create a dual carriageway Extending Karel Avenue bridge across the freight railway line located immediately south of Roe Highway to facilitate construction of the Thornlie-Cockburn Link as part of METRONET Extending the existing Karel Avenue underpass to accommodate the widening Modifying the existing Training Place intersection to promote safe access Widening of Karel Avenue between the Farrington Road intersection and Roe Highway to four lanes Widening of Karel Avenue between Roe Highway and the Berrigan Drive roundabout to a four-lane dual carriageway, including modifications to the roundabout approaches to enable two lanes in each direction
Commuter Car Park Upgrade - T8 East Hills Line - Campbelltown
This project will increase the capacity of the park and ride facilities in Campbelltown.
Williamson Road - Days Road Intersection Upgrade, West Coomera
This project will upgrade the intersection of Williamson Road and Days Road in West Coomera. The upgrades will include the installation of traffic signals, a new left turn slip lane and traffic island on the Gym Road leg of the intersection, and pedestrian crossings on all four intersection legs and slip lanes.    
Beams Road Upgrade, Carseldine
This project will upgrade Beams Road between Lacey Road and Handford Road, Carseldine. This road is part of a key corridor which connects Gympie Road to Sandgate Road, and provides access to local businesses and schools. The project will also complement other projects in the Bracken Ridge area.
Rochedale Road - Priestdale Road Intersection, Rochedale
This project replaced the existing rounabout at Rochedale Road and Priestdale Road in Rochedale with a signalised intersection. The project included: four through lanes on Rochedale Road, two through lanes on Priestdale Road, signalised crossings, cycle paths and off road shared paths on all four legs.
Biloela Heavy Vehicle Bypass
This project delivered a heavy vehicle bypass at Biloela to divert traffic away from the residential and commercial centre of Biloela, improving safety, travel times and access for all road users. The project consisted of ten upgrades along the heavy vehicle bypass route, including road widening and bitumen and asphalt resealing.
Burnett Highway - Gayndah Mount Perry Road - Wetheron Road Intersection Upgrade
The project provided road improvements to the Burnett Highway.
Gogango Creek Bridge upgrade, Gogango
The Gogango Creek Bridge is located on Wowan Westwood Road, approximately 18 kilometres north-west of Dululu along the Burnett Highway. This project replaced the existing bridge with a single-lane, two-span concrete bridge to allow for heavy vehicle use.
