Project description
The project will upgrade key sections of Bribie Island Road:
- Old Toorbul Point Road Intersection Upgrade – signalisation of the Old Toorbul Point Road/Bribie Island Road intersection.
- Old Toorbul Point Road to Saint Road Duplication – duplication of the existing single carriageway from west of Old Toorbul Point Road to the existing section east of Saint Road and the signalisation of the Volz Road/Browns Road intersection.

Funding
The Australian Government has increased its funding commitment from $20 million to $28.915 million towards this project.
