Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

The surface seal has failed on this section of road.Remove the existing slurry seal surface, correct the failed pavement areas and reseal the surface with asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $483,854

Extensive cracking and deterioration in pavement surface.Repair road pavement by removing top layer of damaged surface, upgrade of kerb and channel and drainage, replacement of line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $260,000
Lockerbie Court, St Kilda East - 103386-19VIC-RTR
The road surface, pavement and kerb and channel are dilapidated condition. The road has deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Extensive vehicle crossovers damage as well as scraping of road pavement, causing drainage problems. There is no sufficient drainage in the street either to drain the road surface runoff.The work involves installation of new kerb and channel, reinstating failed pavement sections, providing asphalt patching to correct unevenness, asphalt resurfacing and providing adequate drainage to the court.Total cost of proposed project is $123,000

The road seal and road pavement are both in varying states of decline and are failing. The current road seal and pavement have reached the end of their useful lives and are becoming cost prohibitive to maintain in a safe conditionRemove and reconstruct current road seal and pavement. Narrow road to align with current service standards. Construct new stronger pavement and apply an asphalt wearing course.
Upgrade Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road, Wooroloo and Sawyers Valley
The intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road in Wooroloo (7km east of the Sawyers Valley intersection) is right before a large bend which creates a blind spot. It is also a significant blind spot for commuters turning right into Great Eastern Highway from Old Northam Road. The intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road in Sawyers Valley is on a bend that creates a blind spot. The project will upgrade the intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Old Northam Road in Wooroloo and Sawyers Valley.
Erindale Road-Reid Highway Business Case, Hamersley
Erindale Road is a connector road that provides residents of the suburbs of Hamersley and Warwick with access to Reid Highway and Mitchell Freeway. The intersection of Erindale Road and Reid Highway provides access to the Balcatta light industrial area. In peak periods, this intersection becomes congested with traffic. Funding will be used to develop a business case for the upgrade of the intersection at Erindale Road and Reid Highway in Hamersley.

Commuter Car Park Upgrade - T8 East Hills Line - Revesby
This project is expected to increase the capacity of the park and ride facilities in Revesby.
