Project description

This project will upgrade the intersection of Williamson Road and Days Road in West Coomera. The upgrades will include the installation of traffic signals, a new left turn slip lane and traffic island on the Gym Road leg of the intersection, and pedestrian crossings on all four intersection legs and slip lanes.

The project will reduce congestion and improve traffic flow and commuter safety at this busy intersection.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $1 million to this $1.4 million project. 

Timetable

The project commenced construction in January 2021 and completed construction in May 2021.
