Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Merryoula Road (Rural Road) - 126678-23NSW-RTR
Poor shape, drainage and safety issues and in some locations loss of material.Grading to restore the road surface profile and condition, including table drains. Walter Hay Dr, Noosaville - 126733-23QLD-RTR
Road wearing due to increased traffic and heavy vehicles (12,000- 15,000 vehicles traveling on this section of road per day). Growing maintenance costs to maintain satisfactory surface conditions. Proposed section is a school route, with the school entrance on Walter Hay Dr, and a distributor for heavy vehicles.Road reseal works to restore surface at the end of its useful life.
Pioneer Road Pomona - 126735-23QLD-RTR
Pioneer road is the main road to the Bruce highway from the Noosa hinterland. With the nearby Kin Kin quarry running large truck movements the road was failing and rutting causing water to pool in the road way, also the surface had become very slippery as the surface had worn awayRoad resurfacing worksTotal cost of proposed project is $413,726
Paradise Fall Road, Cheshunt - 126758-23VIC-RTR
As part of Gravel Re-sheeting program, the Paradise Fall Road, Cheshunt is identified of needs of re-sheeting to preserve and extend the lifespan of overall road.Re-sheeting the road through a comprehensive Gravel Re-sheeting program to improve the road condition and extend the lifespan.
Morven Road (rural road) - 053151-14NSW-RTR
The existing causeway is very poor condition, with the concrete slab fractured and deformed along the centre of the causeway, leading to loss of strength and rough ride for motorists.Cut and removed faulty sections of the old concrete slab, and replace with new reinforced concrete slab, and reinstate erosion and sediment controls.
EUROA-STRATHBOGIE ROAD (Rural Road) - 126711-23VIC-RTR
The road is increasingly failing in this section requiring ongoing high maintenance yet insufficiently preserving road safety standards.These sections of road pavement will be rehabilitated as per Councils maintenance protocol.
HURLEY STREET, Longwood (Urban Road) - 126713-23VIC-RTR
The road pavement has deteriorated and shows signs of failure such as depression, cracking and general roughness.The entire section of road pavement will be spray sealed and appropriate sized stones applied as per Councils maintenance protocols.
