Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Yorkrakine West Road (rural road) - 127059-23WA-RTR
Major storm damage to floodway, washing away of concrete headwalls to both sides and scouring to road edges and base course. All guide posts and warning signs were washed away.Install new 300mm concrete beams and headwalls to both sides, fixed to existing pavement. Import 350mm gravel, stabilise with cement, grade and compact and install concrete and armour rock to floodway approaches.
Maningrida Access Road (Darwin - Rural Local) - 127114-23NT-RTR
Maningrida Access Road connects communities of Maningrida and Ramingining Katherine and EAst Arnhem. This road is also used by tourists. Proposed sections are heavily corrugated, lost the gravel surface and in poor condition for users. Gravel resheeting this sections will improve safety for the motorists.Gravel resheeting from 24.3 to 28.3 kilometres.
Davies South Road (rural road) - 127060-23WA-RTR
Road pavement deteriorating due to insufficient gravel resulting in potholes and overly slippery conditions for all trafficImport gravel, resheet the section with 150mm gravel, grade and compact. Improve table drains and offshoots as required.
Barge Road, Ramingining - 127123-23NT-RTR
Road surface condition and improvement of amenity for freight transportation into the community.Minor re-surfacing and full maintenence grading of the Ramingining Barge Access road
Gawa Road, Galiwnku - 127125-23NT-RTR
Surface Reconstruction, on badly effected surface, drainage adjustments.Re-sheeting of 1.9 kilometers of road, table drain renstatement of table drains and offlet drainage.
Bodia Outstation Road, Bodia - 127126-23NT-RTR

Bennies Road, Rural Road - 053198-14WA-RTR
Existing surface is extremely rough and potholed increasing road maintenance costs and decreasing road safety. Road surface has reached the end of its life.Resheet existing road surface with 100mm of gravel for 9m wide for 3.34 kilometres long. The intersection of Bennies Road with Indian Ocean Drive will be sealed to a width of 7m for 200m long.Total cost of proposed project is $400,278
