Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Install medians, pedestrian refuges and traffic signs. Reconstruct kerb ramps, revise drainage, and resurfacing and line marking.

Remove filter turns on approaches. Install raised platforms at slip lane crossings, and cyclist jump-boxes/markings. Improve pedestrian safety with increased delay start time (8 secs) and full protection on approaches.

Changing the horizontal alignment. Install shoulder of at least 0.5m to provide space to correct loss of control. Install a roadside barrier to reduce the severity of out of control crashes, should they occur.
Gowrie Lillyvale Road 400m south of Gilberts Road GLENCOE - 125562-24QLD-BS
Improved curve warning signage, delineation, edge lines. Road widening and a new seal to allow improved line marking. Change alignment of T intersection to 90 degrees. Review of existing speed limit.

Realignment of the road and shoulder widening. Installation of guardrail including Motorcycle Barrier System, directional hazard and curve warning signs, guideposts, raised reflective pavement markers, chevron alignment markers.
Drayton Road South Street HARRISTOWN - 125560-24QLD-BS
Removal of filter turns to mitigate through and right type crashes, introduction of full pedestrian protection by phasing to remove conflicts, and installation of shared cycle lanes with jump boxes and radar detection for cycles.

Pavement widening, curve correction and sealing, update line marking, install signs and devices, relocate power pole.
George Street Distillery Road EAGLEBY - 125558-24QLD-BS
Review of signal design plan to remove filtered right turn movements. Extend short right turn storage length from 100 to 150m to improve capacity.
Louisa Street Alfred Street GYMPIE - 125557-24QLD-BS
installation of raised concrete median islands on the minor approaches, associated line marking, new stop and give way signs with target boards, and upgraded lighting. Stop line moved forward on Queen Street.
