Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Whyenbah Road (Rural Road) - 129990-24QLD-RTR
The Whyenbah Rd is one of Council's highly utilised roads that connects St George to Dirranbandi. The road is predominantly gravel/unsealed road, therefore due to its high utilisation it creates faster deterioration requiring regular maintenance at large costs to Council's operating budget. The upgrade and sealing of additional sections of road allows the safety of the road to be largely increased as the deterioration of this section of road is dramatically reduced, therefore creating safer network for road users. While reducing Council's operating costs for maintaining this particular road which then allows Council to focus on improving other council roads within the network.Bitumen Seal of Unsealed Section. 50% of this project is being funded by Dept Transport & Main Roads under the Transport Infrastructure Delivery Scheme (TIDS)Total cost of proposed project is $1,048,108
Noondoo-Mungindi Road (Rural Road) - 129991-24QLD-RTR
Noondoo-Mungindi Rd is an unsealed road frequently used for the transportation of grain and cotton. The road has not been subject to flood damage in the past 5-6 years due to its relative elevation and just needs a gravel top-up. The proposed re-sheeting will bring the road up to a standard to be sealed in the future.Re-sheeting of two sections.
Morley Road (Rural Road) - 053562-14NSW-RTR
A new bridge has been constructed over an irrigation drainage channel which has necessitated realignment of Morley Road, improving the intersection with Kurrajong Avenue.Realign, reconstruct and seal the section of Morley Road between the new irrigation drainage bridge and Kurrajong Avenue
Jakelwar-Goodooga Road (Rural Road) - 129992-24QLD-RTR
