The Australian Government is committed to a 10-year, over $120 billion infrastructure investment pipeline, ensuring a rolling program of sustainable land transport infrastructure projects.

Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Atkinson's Road, Legana - 130470-24TAS-RTR
Road has deteriorated with undulations, break up and potholing of the surface. Roadsides have no defined stormwater drainage.Full digout and rebuild 410 metres of sealed road approximately 8.5 metres wide. Concrete vee drains each side of road diverting stormwater into new pits and pipework. Existing swale drains to be infilled. Forming 21 concrete driveways and crossings to replace the existing. Additional funding provided by West Tamar Council.Total cost of proposed project is $787,000
Ecclestone Road, Riverside - 130498-24TAS-RTR
Superelevation and road side safety barrier.Improved road conditions such as superelevation built on the bend, roadside safety barrier installation, road widening, sealing, drains cleared and reshaped, line marking and directional chevrons reinstated. $100,000 in funding will be provided by the BlackSpot Program, with the remainder funded by R2R and West Tamar Council ($35,000).Total cost of proposed project is $155,750

Road surface badly deteriorated and pavement sections are failing/showing distress under traffic loads. Kerb and gutter also in poor conditions and road requires reconstruction/rehabilitation. Length 348 m and width 10.8 m.Road pavement re-construction, re-surfacing, kerb and gutter and drainage works. Council Road Construction Program funding for the 24/25 financial year will be funding $170,256 of the project cost.Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
Inverai Road (Rural Road) - 053420-14QLD-RTR
Repair Flood damaged cause by Tropical Cyclone Ostwald and associated rainfall and flooding, 21-29 January 2013Various treatment including shoulder widening, excavation and replacement of existing pavement, lime stabilisation of subgrade, remove and replace top 100mm of road, bitumen seal and gravel resheeting.Total cost of proposed project is $3,243,402
