Infrastructure Investment Program

The Australian Government is committed to a 10-year, over $120 billion infrastructure investment pipeline, ensuring a rolling program of sustainable land transport infrastructure projects.

The Government is working in partnership with states and territories to deliver a credible and sustainable pipeline of projects which support a range of economic and social objectives, including productivity and resilience, sustainability and liveability.

Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bishop Street, Renown Park - 130486-24SA-RTR
Pavement badly deteriorated and is failing under traffic loads, kerb and gutter in poor condition and requires road reconstruction works. Length 449 m and width 11.8 m.Reconstruct road pavement, re-surface roadway, kerb and gutter and drainage works. Council Road Construction Program funding for the 24/25 financial year will be funding $900,000 of the project cost.Total cost of proposed project is $1,900,000
Whitehead Street (Rural Road) - 130547-24NSW-RTR
Deteriorated pavement and bitumen seal.Rip, mix, stabilise, shape and compact existing material. Additional pavement will be added where required. Apply 240 bitumen seal in a 14 mm and 7 mm aggregate to the entire length of the works. The remainder of the project is funded through the NSW Government Fixing Local Roads Program.Total cost of proposed project is $2,000,000
Bullecourt Road (Rural Road) - 130551-24NSW-RTR
Deteriorated pavement.Rip, mix, stabilise, shape and compact existing material and add 100 mm of pavement where required. Apply 240 bitumen seal in a 14 mm and 7 mm aggregate to the entire length of the works to 7 m wide. The remainder of the project is funded through the NSW Government Fixing Local Roads Program.Total cost of proposed project is $341,000
Cemetery Road (Rural Road) - 130554-24NSW-RTR
Deteriorated pavement.Rip, mix, stabilise, shape and compact existing material and add 100 mm of pavement where required. Apply 240 bitumen seal in a 14 mm and 7 m wide. The remainder of the project is funded through the NSW Government Fixing Local Roads Program.Total cost of proposed project is $185,000
Petries Court, Millars Well - 130553-24WA-RTR
Cracked and misaligned kerbs along full length of road.Full replacement of kerbs.Total cost of proposed project is $100,265
Floraville Road (Rural Road) - 130516-24QLD-RTR
Identified structural failures and aged assets requiring replacement to current engineering standards. Culvert capacity needs to be increased.Replacement of culverts at 8 different sites along Floraville Road using reinforced concrete box culverts to increase capacity and renew assets to current engineering standards. Jointly funded by North Queensland Resilience Program - Stream 2.Total cost of proposed project is $3,900,936
Paratoo Road (rural road) - 130558-24SA-RTR
Surface material erosion and drainage problems leading to clay exposed causing a rough surface which is also slippery when wet.Cart and spread crushed rubble materials to reform the road surface and increase traffic safety.
