Project description

Stadium Drive is a regional road connecting Hogbin Drive to the Pacific Hwy, and Phil Hawthorne Drive is a local road which provides access to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus (Base Hospital) staff car park. The road also provides access to local sporting fields, and Motor Sports Complex. The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes, due to age and relatively high traffic volumes, including some screwing effects at the intersection.

The works proposed is to renew approximately 840 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 100 mm AC20.

The Gardens Road (Alice Springs Rural Road) - 059887-15NT-RTR

The Gardens Road services the pastoral, tourism, mining and indigenous community industries. The nearby Alice Springs to Darwin road rail crossing is currently being upgraded to 2 lane 7m wide seal, finishing at the existing narrow non-standard, single lane grid. The upgrade of the grid and drainage is a safety issue.It is proposed to raise the grid to allow drainage to occur, widen the grid to standard 9.6 metre width, raise the road approaches and build fence on both sides of the grid for traffic safety.
