Project description

Hogbin Drive is a regional road and is Coffs Harbour's busiest road based on traffic volume. Albany Street is an arterial road. Howard Street is a collector road. This roundabout provides direct access to the Coffs Harbour CBD, access to and from Sawtell, access to the Coffs Harbour Racecourse, and access to the Pacific Hwy. The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes and shoves due to age and high traffic volumes, including heavy vehicle/truck and bus screwing effects.

The works proposed is to renew approximately 3514 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 60 mm HD AC20, and 40 mm A15E.
