Project description

This road is an arterial road providing access to medium density housing estates, farming properties, beach access to Sandy Beach (via Diamond Head Drive), and provides connection to and from the Pacific Hwy. The road is also a bus route for the nearby Sandy Beach Public School, and other schools within the LGA. The road pavement has failed in sections, resulting in shoves, potholing and edge breaks, as a result of an ageing seal and pavement, and historical prolonged wet weather.

The works proposed is to renew approximately 3262 m2 of the existing pavement by appropriate stabilisation, followed by a 2-coat spray seal.
