Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Inkerman St, Triabunna - 131968-25TAS-RTR
Pavement deformation and failures and seal end of life.Pavement rehabilitation and cement stabilisation to 150 mm and 2 coat bitumen seal. Balance of funding to come from council capital works program allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $145,000
Noondoo-Thallon Road (Rural Road) - 133324-25QLD-RTR
Noondoo-Thallon Road is one of Council’s most heavily utilised routes, providing a key connection between St George, Dirranbandi, and Thallon. As a sealed road with high traffic volumes, it experiences accelerated deterioration, resulting in significant ongoing maintenance costs for Council’s operating budget. The road currently has pavement failures requiring rehabilitation, as well as floodway upgrades and additional bitumen sealing. Completing these upgrades will significantly improve safety by reducing deterioration, providing a safer and more reliable network for all road users. Additionally, reducing the maintenance burden on this section will allow Council to redirect resources toward improving other roads within the network.Pavement Rehabilitation and Upgrade Floodways . This project is jointly funded by Dept of Transport & Main Roads TIDS funding.Total cost of proposed project is $640,000
Noondoo-Mungindi Road, (Rural Road) - 133351-25QLD-RTR
Noondoo-Mungindi Road is identified as one of Council's Local Road of Regional Significance, providing a key connection between Dirranbandi and Mungindi. As the road is predominantly unsealed, it is subject to accelerated deterioration, resulting in significant ongoing maintenance costs for Council's operating budget. Resealing sections and completing these upgrades will significantly improve safety by reducing deterioration and associated hazards, providing a safer and more reliable network for all road users. Additionally, reducing the maintenance burden on this section will enable Council to redirect resources toward improving other roads within the network.Bitumen reseal
Broadway, Bonbeach - 133392-25VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition – it has extensive crocodile cracking and heaving failures. Due to required drainage upgrade works as part of this project, with the drain to be constructed underneath this road, the road pavement will require full reconstruction.Works will include the reconstruction of the road pavement, drainage, vehicle crossings and footpaths and kerb and channel. Council funds will be used as the additional source of funding.Total cost of proposed project is $3,100,000
Cambridge Street, Vale Park - 133408-25SA-RTR
Road condition is poor.Profile out existing surface and reseal with 40mm AC10 Asphalt. Additional funding will be provided as part of Council's Annual Business Plan and budget.Total cost of proposed project is $65,000
Hill Road (Rural Road) - 133469-25SA-RTR
To reconstruct and Seal to improve drainage and strength.Reconstruct and seal 1600 m x 8 m. The difference will be funded from Council Equity.Total cost of proposed project is $304,208
Bethanga Bay Road, Bethanga Township - 133492-25VIC-RTR
The condition of the existing seal is poor and needs to be renewed.The road surface will be resealed.
Roberts St, Triabunna - 131969-25TAS-RTR
Pavement deformation and failures and seal at end of useful life.Pavement rehabilitation to 150mm and cement stabilisation. 2 coat bitumen seal. Balance of funding to come from council capital works program allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $69,000
Buckland Road, Buckland - 131971-25TAS-RTR
Pavement deformation and seal at end of useful life.Pavement rehabilitation to 200mm and cement stabilisation. 2 coat bitumen seal. Balance of funding to come from council capital works program allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $280,000
Midland Highway Upgrade – Perth to Breadalbane Duplication
The project has upgraded approximately 4.5km of the Midland Highway between Perth and Breadalbane to four lanes.
