Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Road Rehabilitation Works: structural cracking, rutting due to end of the service life.High binder, low voids asphalt base layer and dense grade for the wearing course. Profile 50 mm, install 20 mm asphalt and 30 mm asphalt. Replacement of kerbing as necessary.
Woods Hill Road, Ashton - 133478-25SA-RTR

Noondoo-Mungindi Road (Rural Road) - 133350-25QLD-RTR
Noondoo-Mungindi Road is identified as one of Council's Local Road of Regional Significance, providing a key connection between Dirranbandi and Mungindi. As the road is predominantly unsealed, it is subject to accelerated deterioration, resulting in significant ongoing maintenance costs for Council's operating budget. While this section was resheeted in the last financial year, bitumen sealing is now a strategic next step to preserve and maintain the pavement effectively. Completing these upgrades will significantly improve safety by reducing deterioration and associated hazards, providing a safer and more reliable network for all road users. Hotham Street, Hughesdale - 133493-25VIC-RTR
This section of the road is in poor condition according to the road assessment parameters and is scheduled for resurfacing/rehabilitation. In addition, traffic control devices and kerb and channel will be renewed to resolve the scraping of vehicles and drainage issues.The proposed scope of works includes asphalt resurfacing and pavement patching together with reconstruction of kerb and channel and traffic control devices. As the project is partially funded by R2R, the remaining balance will be paid by the council.Total cost of proposed project is $2,800,000
River St, Swansea - 131970-25TAS-RTR
Pavement deformation and failures. Bitumen seal at end of useful life.Pavement rehabilitation and cement stabilisation to 150 mm and 2 coat bitumen seal. Balance of funding to come from council capital works program allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $101,000
