Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bernera Road Upgrade
The project involves the upgrading of Bernera Road between Yarrawa Street and Yarrunga Street, and Yato Road, Prestons. The project will upgrade the single lane road in each direction to a divided four lane road, with installation of a shared path along the western side of Bernera Road connecting with the existing shared path north of the M7 off ramp. 
Camden Valley Way / Hilder Street Intersection Upgrade
The project will upgrade approximately 170 metres of the approach/departure lanes along Camden Valley Way in each direction. The scope of works also include an upgrade of the approach/departure lanes along Hilder Street as well as upgrading the existing two-lane roundabout. 
Metro Intersection Upgrade Program - Torrens Road (Ovingham) Level Crossing Upgrade
The project includes the upgrade of the level crossing on Torrens Road, including grade separation of the existing intersection, realignment of Torrens Road and works at surrounding intersections.
Middleton Drive Extension - M7 Underpass
The project will construct a new road extending Middelton Drive, Middleton Grange, to connect with Aviation Road, Austral, under the M7 Motorway. This includes the construction of a shared path overbridge parallel to the M7 Motorway.
Duncans Lane - 053192-14VIC-RTR
Safety problems - This section of the road has a very narrow pavement (approx 4m) and poor shoulders, with a 100kph speed limit. This is a significant road link to the Calder Freeway from Bulla & SunburyWiden the pavement to approx 7m and provide constructed shoulders.Total cost of proposed project is $550,615
Toongabbie Bridge enabling works
The project will reduce congestion on Toongabbie Bridge by delivering upgrades to Wentworth Avenue.
