Bringelly Road, Kingswood - 133593-25NSW-RTR
Brigelly Road is a Minor Collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa1975. The road has experienced numerous failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and patches and has been repaired via heavy patching. Due to the age of the road and the increasing traffic volume it is suggested that the existing base materials need to be replaced with full depth asphalt and to privide a 50mm AC14 wearing surface. It is proposed to replace the base material to the trafficable lane with the asphalt and provide a 50mm asphalt wearing surface. Below is a list of the works proposed to 760m length of road by 13m wide: 50mm AC14 wearing surface 100mm AC20 base Not Compliant.

The black soil sections become non trafficable in wet wether. The scope of works includes heavy formation grading of the red loam sections and some white rock sections; sheeting of some black soil and red loam sections.
