Dalrymple Road, Mount Direction - 133617-25TAS-RTR

With increasing patronage of the adjacent community facility, nearby residents, and the neighbouring primary school, this section of the road is heavily used for on-street parking, particularly during peak hours. The project’s objective is to improve safety and traffic flow by offsetting the running lane and providing indented parking spaces. The work is to be constructed compliant intended parking space adjacent to Agnes Street which includes civil works such as excavation of nature strip, road pavement works, surface sealing, drainage installation, kerb installation, line markings and associated civil and landscaping works. Youle-Dean Road, Brabham - 133653-25WA-RTR
The roundabout at the intersection of Everglades Avenue, Youle-Dean Road was constructed during the development of the Brabham District in 2017. An increase in traffic volumes is observed with the development of the completion of the Brabham District Stage 3 residential development south of the roundabout and the Whiteman Park Station West of the roundabout along Drumpellier Drive. In addition, it is expected that the road hierarchy of Youle-Dean Road would be upgraded to service the increased traffic. Extensive cracking has already been observed on the southern half of the roundabout and a rehabilitation treatment is required to rectify the pavement issues. Cores extracted have revealed the current pavement was constructed as a single layer limestone pavement lacking a high-quality base material to withstand current and future traffic volumes.Remove brick pavers and flush beams to match current road level, in situ foamed bitumen stabilisation to a depth of 290 mm, profile off top 40 mm material, apply 7 mm granite primer seal, and lay 40 mm new asphalt concrete wearing.

Bringelly Road, Kingswood - 133593-25NSW-RTR
Brigelly Road is a Minor Collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa1975. The road has experienced numerous failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and patches and has been repaired via heavy patching. Due to the age of the road and the increasing traffic volume it is suggested that the existing base materials need to be replaced with full depth asphalt and to privide a 50mm AC14 wearing surface. It is proposed to replace the base material to the trafficable lane with the asphalt and provide a 50mm asphalt wearing surface. Below is a list of the works proposed to 760m length of road by 13m wide: 50mm AC14 wearing surface 100mm AC20 base Not Compliant.
