Project description

During heavy rain events, the overall width of the flow path at the crossing is in excess of 15 metres. This has resulted in significant damage to the concrete causeway and the adjoining bitumen sealed approaches.

To address the problem, Council proposes to: 1. Widen and extend the causeway with 30 metres long x 8 metres wide x 200mm thick reinforced concrete slab (1 layer SL82 mesh) 2. Upgrade the existing low flow drainage pipes with 3 x 600 diameter FJ Class 4 RCPs.
