Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

High Street, Tenterfield - 133750-25NSW-RTR
Road seal is in relatively poor condition and road pavement requires patching works in various locations prior to full width reseal. The width of the seal varies between 5.4 – 11 metres.This proposed interventional treatment will preserve the pavement integrity and avoid costly repairs if reseal works are delayed.

Existing seal has reached the end of effective life.Requires new waterproofing bitumen seal to ensure protection of the gravel pavement and maintain acceptable surface friction - 10mm bitumen reseal. Council to supplement additional cost.Total cost of proposed project is $13,034
McMillan Rd, Narooma - 133292-25NSW-RTR
Existing seal has reached the end of effective life.Requires new waterproofing bitumen seal to ensure protection of the gravel pavement and maintain acceptable surface friction - 10mm bitumen reseal. Council to supplement additional cost.Total cost of proposed project is $36,339
Red Hill Rd, Stannum - 133733-25NSW-RTR
Road seal in relatively poor condition and road pavement requires minor patching works prior to full width reseal of 6 metres.Red Hill Road is a connector road between between Torrington Road and Pyes Creek Road, Stannum connecting the area to the New England Highway at Bolivia. This 3640 metres, 6 metres wide sealed section of road is currently in poor condition and requires minor patching works and full width reseal works. This proposed interventional treatment will preserve the pavement integrity and avoid costly repairs if reseal works are delayed.
Scott Street, Tenterfield - 133751-25NSW-RTR

Wharf Rd, Surfside - 133296-25NSW-RTR
Existing seal has reached the end of effective life.Requires new waterproofing bitumen seal to ensure protection of the gravel pavement and maintain acceptable surface friction - 10mm bitumen reseal. Council to supplement additional cost.Total cost of proposed project is $35,202
Girral Road (Rural Road), Girral - 133380-25NSW-RTR
Girral road currently has a 4.0m wide gravel surface This road has suffered significant deterioration over time including extensive gravel loss, Severe rutting and a pronounced loss of surface shape. these conditions pose a serious safety risks to road users and require immediate attention.Remove vegetation both sides of roadway, shape table drains to design level. Compact sub grade and install 250mm of Crushed gravel, compact and shape gravel to required shape and compaction, trim gravel to design height and seal with a two coat C240 14/7mm spray seal. This project is joint funded with Transport for NSW contributing $5,584,123 under the Fixing Local Roads Program Round 4.Total cost of proposed project is $7,635,199
Olive Street, Prospect - 133496-25SA-RTR
The existing road infrastructure is in poor condition with crocodile cracking and pavement displacement requiring a road reconstruction with deep lift pavement treatments to the road carriageway. The works proposed has identified the reconstruction of the road including basecourse and subbase reconstruction with a deep lift pavement treatment to the road carriageway and parking lanes. The total cost of the works is $1,149,098.00, with the proposed allocations for FY2025/26 & FY 2026/27 with a $714,301, Council will fund the remaining funds of $434,797 from its road reconstruction renewal allocation from FY 2025/26.
